the characters in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean are the same for his and her , she and he, etc, so the computer translator uses masculine by default, and screws it up, it has to be reviewed by a human translator. This happens all the time on these movies.
@@mariawohlrabe749 yes, correct but the written character that is translated from the writing is not male or female like it is in French language, le and la, etc. The pronunciation is different but not the written character. Lived in China, Japan, and Korea, speak and write all three, the languages are made to be efficient and use the least words. A google AI translator will never get this right without a human reviewing the translation.
@@mace422004 thank you for your input,🫰 but the series is translated in inglish and if we are addressing a male is Mr, Sr, gentlemen or he, and if we are addressing a woman is lady,she or her no matter what language or contry i have Asians friends,which they agree 🫰
@@mariawohlrabe749 the translations are wrong gender numerous times in the series and many of the other Chinese drama series have the same problem, even a neophyte can notice this, I gave up on the problem ever being corrected. IELTS examiner for the British Council, its English, not Inglish.
