Well Actually his Voice was based on GACKT! a Japanese Rock Singer who also funny enough provided FF7 with The face and Voice of Genesis Rahpsodos for FF7:Crisis Core in other words Gackt is literally part of the FF7 cast now it seems in some sort of weir 3D way.

Gackt just recorded his voice library, which is consisted of various japanese syllables. Gakupo is a singing program, not an actual human singer. Every vocaloids have their voice providers.

Actually i think Miku's Voice is more Calming and maybe Kaito too,Gakupo almost sounds like he has a cold though in some parts of this song.

I am so amazed by this. Throughout the song, and especially in the second half of it, I can actually hear the heartbreak in Gakupo's voice...like he's constantly on the verge of tears... :( Incredible job on this.
