(I read some korean blog about setting up the Geodome 4. But while he was setting up his tent, one of polls was broken. The broken part was round part. So I wonder All polls are same or different length.) 2. How many should you use packs when your tent was set up? ( I know the North face give basically 16 packs. But I think those might be week i think. And I want to buy many packs for wood deck and stronger things)
Thank you for your comment lol . 1)All have the same length except the equatorial pole and the apex pole. The pole is thin and easy to bend. I have used it 20 times, but it is not damaged but it is all bent. 2) If there is no wind, I use 4 on the periphery and 5 on the bottom. The length is 20 cm for grass and 30 cm for sandy beaches. 16 is required in strong winds. Also, if you connect a 3mm rope to the ring of the equator pole or use two pegs to cross them, the strength will increase, but be careful of damage.
