Hello. I am a traditional Japanese dancer called NIHON-BUYO. It is as famous as KABUKI and MAIKO in Japan. In this channel, I will share Japanese culture through my daily life. I have been learning English but it is not enough, so I put subtitles on this video. I hope the translator works well and you can enjoy this video in your language.

Can you film the process of wearing an oiran kimono? This outfit probably costs several hundred thousand dollars.🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's amazing how Japanese people speaking English have very heavy accents and they expect no one to say anything or make fun of them, but when an English-speaking person goes to Japan and speaks Japanese with an accent, all the Japanese in the shops & restaurants make fun of them and call them foreigners in not so nice terms.

When I lived in America I hated my strong accent. But one of my favorite friends said to me, "Don't be nervous, everyone has an accent." I am very sad if it is true that the Japanese behaved badly towards people trying to speak Japanese. Because I know that learning a second language is very difficult. But not all Japanese. At least my family, friends and I have never done that.

I got three question: is it always hot when Oirans where so many kimono? 2. how many hairpins does an Oiran need to wear? 3. why is orian's hair need to be put up like an upside down banana?

Here’s your text translated into English: Sorry for the late reply. 1. That's correct. The kimono of an oiran is very hot and heavy. 2. It depends on the rank of the oiran. The higher the rank, the more hairpins she could use. 3. There are various theories, but it’s said that when wearing a lot of decorations was considered luxurious and banned, people claimed these were ear picks. Even today, the standard ear pick in Japan is a same shape of the stick.
