for context, the title is the old label for what is now commonly reffered to as "chronic fatigue syndrome", and for those who do not have the time or want to read the yellow wallpaper, from the synopsis' that google has given, its the diary entries of a woman dealing with post-partum mental health issues, mainly (possibly only) depression, consistently put down for the old "rest-cure" they used to do for women going through emotional turmoil like hysteria or nervous breakdowns. you can get a good grip on the lyrics just from that context. :)

Never did I ever think there would be a vocaloid song based on The Yellow Wallpaper but I can DEFINITELY say it was something I did not know I needed!! I think this song captures the general feel of the story very well and also your art is SO LOVELY and adds to the vibes even more! I also feel inclined to reread the story so I can appreciate this song better as a whole. This is such a cool song and you should be proud!! OHHHHHHHHHH. oh how i love this so very much... creepy in all the best ways!!!! i love literature so much so i was HYPED when i heard you were making a song based on the yellow wallpaper!! of course, i could talk for ages about just the yellow wallpaper but i think this comment would get way too long if i covered the book (and the context of it) as well as my thoughts on this song KNFDSHJKBG. you are so very lucky you have yet to post the lyrics beneath this video otherwise i would break it down. (also it's been quite a bit since i've read the story itself, so if i sound a little off about anything, i apologise upfront!!) so, just to preface this: you got down the vibes of *the yellow wallpaper* beautifully. like, seriously. you bring to the forefront the creepiness of a depressing story. most women don't creep by daylight, but this song certainly does, and i love it for that!! and even better, you still highlight what the story is: it's a story about women's rights and marriage, it's about psychological issues of the 1800's! it's a story about madness; it's the story of a lady who knew what was best for her illness, yet was held back because her husband thought he knew best-- because he's a doctor, dear, and he knows-- which leads to her insanity. (& eventually liberates herself despite it all(?).) it's incredibly interesting to me how you weave into the 'advice' that the narrator is given, and how she feels disdainful, and even doubtful towards johnny. the slightly higher pitch GETS MEEEEEEE. like. ugh!!! almost like they're little whispers in her mind. i'm enamoured with how you've done that! it's also interesting that you latched onto the mentions of her baby, because most take the context away from the story to pass it off as a scary story. which is precisely why i love this song even more, i don't see a lot of discussions about *the yellow wallpaper* being about post-partum depression. so even more points to you!!! ALSO ALSO, the desperation that leaks into the lyrics of the song. despite all the nonsensicalness, the absurdity, of it all. oh dear. i may just faint over the shock of it all!!! i am so very feral over this all. i can't even get my words entirely right FBSDHJBG. also the "i might have died, in hindsight / the moment Her and i locked eyes" OOOOGH. AUUGUHGUHGHUDUHGGHBF. I AM GOING CRAZY!! RUNNING IN CIRCLES CRAWLING ON THE FLOOR AND THE WALLS AND THROUGH THE ROSE BUSHES!! i srsly didn't expect nonliteral perspectives on the story to be taken into account!!! especially because it truly highlights the feminist parts of it, so that made me so very giddy and made me even more insane for this song.

the fact i knew this was about the yellow wallpaper in the first minute before i even read the description DGSJHSF i love that story and u did a great job at conveying the protagonist's descent (or ascent, depending how u look at it)!!
Hmmm i gotta think about what this song could mean...maybe a husband that has no use for his wife anymore or thinks she's crazy because she's to exhausted because of their born or unborn child? Atleast this is what i am getting from this. Because heck if i know what "women inside the wallpaper" means.
I see a lot of people think this is about mental health but I think her wallpaper was just using arsenic dye that used to be popular before it got banned because it released arsenic gas slowly poisoning whoever's nearby like this singer for instance.

hi! me personally i’ve literally been using the FL studio demo for the past three years… XD unfortunately you can’t save your projects with the demo, so when you’re making a project you kinda always have to keep the tab open until youre done lol. and several features aren’t usable with this version but hey, it functions great still for me ^_^ if i recall the demo doesn’t cost, tho my memory is a bit faulty ^^; if you need an alternative theres stuff like garageband or signal online midi editor :]
