@@natalie6165 as someone who makes youtube videos and have to deal with it I can tell you that while it may not be the whole problem itself it is part of the problem. When uploading a video on youtube it goes through an automatic check. If there is an error it is possible to contest the claim in which case the video's restrictions are removed. That's what happened, the video went back to being available worldwide for a few days because syudou contested the claim. But only for a few days because the automatic detection is flawed and it got blocked again. Meanwhile I used this song in one of my videos but didn't get any claim. So I can use syudou's song in my video but syudou can't ? Clearly a problem on RU-vid's side even if there is one on Crypton's too. Because if syudou was actually not allowed to have this song available worldwide he wouldn't have been allowed to make this alternative video to avoid the youtube restrictions.

RU-vid doesn't check for copyright only at the moment that the video is uploaded, it checks all the time. Sometimes the song or video isn't protected when it's uploaded but it can be at a later date. It happens a lot when producers release a song on RU-vid first and release it on streaming platforms later. I make videos about vocaloid and rhythm game videos so I used a lot of songs in my videos. Sometimes I get claims automatically added to videos that have been made years ago because the producer decided to add a copyright protection to their song. It can also get blocked in specific regions without the need of a manual claim. I have videos that have been blocked in Russia after some events happened. And to check that it isn't a manual claim I reuploaded syudou's blocked video unlisted on my channel. It got blocked immediately. But I'm assuming he didn't go further to not risk his channel. And no Crypton doesn't own the song, they manage the rights for the owners. And have you noticed that the video and artwork are a bit different in this reupload ? That's to avoid youtube's automatic detection. What was supposed to happen is that every video that uses this song gets blocked except the original since these kind of rules are normally there to protect the original. @@natalie6165 From Crypton's FAQ on original creator website Q. I have specifice individual permission from the original creator to monetize this video. Can I dispute the claim? A. In the case that you have individual permission, please dispute the claim. We will confirm with the original creator and handle as necessary. 2 things here, syudou is the original creator, Crypton didn't handle as necessary. (And there is a typo on specifice instead of specific) So there is a problem with youtube's detection claiming the original video and a problem with Crypton not acting properly. And going back to my initial comment, there is a problem with RU-vid specifically since the song has no issues on other platforms.

Apparently there were copyright issues. I know that it was blocked in the US being claimed by originalcreator. I don't think there was anything wrong with the song itself, just distribution issues which is more common that you think.

It's a bit different, yeah. If you search for videos of the lyrics or covers of the song you can still see Miku's legs in the thumbnail. Not sure about the effects but I wouldn't be surprised. I wonder why they changed that tho

@@ei-san651The only thing I can say about the problem that the video may have had was that perhaps the artist who did the illustration in the video was slightly inappropriate for Miku and the Pokémon franchise. The position of her legs and clothing is different, they even completely cover the lower part of her body. On the first update she was sitting with shorts that were too short in a compromising position. The face has also changed, it is less scary and cocky than the first upload, it is more noticeable because she does not stick out her tongue, that is why she has that strange position on Miku's left hand because at one point she licks her thumb to make a mockery to the spectator. We must remember that the Pokémon franchise is more aimed at a children's audience (whether we like it or not) and that is why syudou and company had problems making complaints, crypto told them their concerns about the image they were trying to give and they had to correct it, it not was a problem with the music itself, it was the attitude of the character in the video

@@1234StarBlack That makes a lot of sense, but wouldn't the video get checked and approved by them before it got uploaded? I'm not sure how it all works but as you said that's the most probable thing. At least they didn't change the song on itself nor retouched the video too much.

@ei-san651 that part im not sure, anyways the producers collab was made for themself and later cripto had to check, syudou had a mature sense of his representation of the music he makes and crypto didn't get that well? Idk. Maybe are just miscommunication between crypto and syudou

​@@1234StarBlack The video is fine on Niconico but not on RU-vid. People have also claimed that it was only region locked in the USA and Canada. Whatever the reason, it is likely more region-based.

@@9Kevin10 из-за проблем с авторскими правами нельзя было ни из одной страны, кроме японии, посмотреть изначальное видео до перезалива. при использовании видео-материалов так же блокались видео у других пользователей. если ты мог это посмотреть это в Германии/Греции да и где угодно еще, то только с использованием впн. бтв через пару дней все наладилось и можно было смотреть «оригинальное» видео не только из японии.
