It’s actually an original song. My husband and I wrote it together. This was pretty early on in my German study and I bet now I could do even better German tuning. I’m glad you enjoyed our work! Maybe we’ll make more German songs soon :)

Hey, first of all i wanna thank you for actually paying attention to the lyrics and thinking about them. It really makes me happy and i love your interpretation of the song. I sometimes try to keep the lyrics a bit more vague so people can come up with their own ideas what the song could mean to them. So there is no "correct" meaning of the song. I like your interpretation a lot. And if it's "correct" for you that's awesome, but here's what i thought while writing them: The song is basically about a long distance relationship. It's a boring love song xD Because it's really fucking hard being apart from your love one for a long time. So "ich töt das Jahr für dich" Just means I'll try to make the time fly by as fast as possible so we can see each other again. "Ohne dich bin ich nichts".. yeah I'm just really needy and dependant on my girl, i don't know how else to put it. "Wenn das Glas zerbricht..." Just says how fragile this kind of relationship is. It's really hard if you can't be around your loved one whenever you want. If you can't just have a hug when your down. So this line just means, take care of yourself and the relationship. "Für immer und für alle Zeiten" is just how long i wanna be together with my girl. "Wach gefangen..." shows how hard it is to fall asleep sometimes because you miss your loved person so much. So yeah, i hope you're not too disappointed, but those were my thoughts writing this song.

@@BakeneCore No, I´m not disappointed at all. These are really deep lyrics and your girl can be happy that she knows such an open-minded, sensible and brave person. Brave in the way that you are not afraid to talk about your true feelings since most people are not able to do that. Most are even lying to themselves to keep an illusion alive. You know what really got me into Vocaloid? It wasn´t the anime looks, the japanese language or the melody. The lyrics were the most important part for me since the very beginning. The beauty of Vocaloid is that everybody can show a piece of his or her real character with their very own believes and wolrd view. Everything behind the face of Miku because it would be weird for a real singer to talk about some topics (for example the child abuse in "I´m Sorry, I´m Sorry" or Ryo´s chronical depression in "Odds & Ends"). Vocaloid is awesome and people who create songs while staying true to themselves deserve my highest respect. It reminds me of the old poets in the past who we were analyzing in school in the German class ^^ Who knows, maybe you´ll get famous and in 100 years kids will be analyzing your song in school xD

@@BakeneCore I know what you mean. I also used to be extremely insecure. It´s a bit weird but Vocaloid helped me realize that everybody has their own problems and that I should care a lot less what people think about me. In the end, the only people that matter are the ones who will support you at your worst moment. The rest is irrelevant...

Sag Mal ist das n fucking meme unter diesem Video zu kommentieren, dass man nichts versteht? Wird man dafür bezahlt? Zeig mir Mal ein deutsches vocaloid Lied, das perfekt verständlich ist. Miku english versteht man meist nicht Mal wenn sie Englisch singt ohne massive Arbeit reinzustecken. Die Voicebank ist nicht dafür gedacht Deutsch zu singen und ich finde dafür ist sie hier trotzdem echt verständlich. Und es ist nicht so, dass wir hier ne japanische vb verwenden um Englisch zu singen, wo man sich nur denkt "warum?". Ich würde einiges für ne Deutsche vb geben.. Es ist einfach fucking demotivierend wenn hier zig Leute schreiben, wie unverständlich die Vocals sind..

That's why the lyrics are on the screen. If you read along it's perfectly understandable. Show me one German vocaloid song that's understandable without reading the lyrics. You know how demotivating it is to see 20 comments saying how they can't understand the lyrics...
