First Jet I ever got to see at an airshow when I was 13, my brother in law took me to my first airshow, when he was dating my sister. He was in the Airforce at the time.
Good bye old friend.... This just shows you what the Australian Air Force can do with a plane. Anything from inventing patches for micro fractures to an all glass digital cockpit. Should of stayed in our sky's for another 10 years ;(
I can agree with you on the looks of the replacement, but the f35 is much more capable. Also the f-111 needed on average 180 maintenance hours for every flight hour, ouch.
