The way how the elder brother always brings the best of himself to everyone around him and telling everyone that "hey, you can rely on me" But thinking about his situation, it's sad how he is always so lonely and alone and afraid that his father will be upset if he finds out about his sexuality. I hope these two ends up caring and be the best person to stand next to each other in their lives.

I’m here because of this brother's cp. I love the way jongjie tells his bro what he fell like if his bro ignores him & his life without him in a physical way like this. But the most impressive part is jongjie holds his bro hand and assures him that he can make him goes back home completely. His bro Xing si is afraid of letting his father know he is gay so he chooses to stay away from home even though he loves to be at home more than anyone else. So the man Xing si desires is a person who loves him a lot and strong enough to be with him in front of his father. Then Jongjie is completely what Sing si wishing for. I also love the way Jongjie takes his bro to the restroom since Xing si can’t stand but cry after what Jongjie telling him. Then I know why jongjie is 1 in this relationship 🙀😉. The actors extremely did a good job. Can’t wait for next episode where Xing si tells Jong jie that what Jongjie felt for him is not love, and Jongjie gives him a diary that states almost clearly what he thought and felt for his bro over their memories. I believe that Xing si can understand the love of Jongjie and accept him as a family member but also a Mr. Right for his life at the same time.

THIS is another excellent scene from "Close to you" that many silly people have misinterpreted as suicide blackmailing from Yong Jie to Simon. Only those people are all WRONG... They are simply too melodramatic... 😹😹😹 This scene was about conveying very specific feelings in a way that it won't leave room for misunderstanding. Yong Jie wanted Simon to feel and realize the way he was feeling... not only in a metaphorical way, but also physically... before explaining himself to him... and that is exactly what he says: "I just want YOU to understand MY feelings for YOU". Yong Jie says it with a very soft tone... in a very tender way... and not screaming or demanding... but conciliating and pleading. His face is serene and calm too. It is because of this tender way Yong Jie uses what convinces Simon there is nothing to be afraid of... and he walks straight to him... without hesitations. They hold hands and stand right there... Simon still feeling scare of what he is doing... yet Yong Jie smiling at him. One of the most beautiful love confessions ever shown in a BL Series starts. How can this be beautiful in such a scary setting...? Because it is extremely honest... talking about the fears of facing life, loneliness... and growing up in rejection from a very young age. A feeling of emptiness and solitude that was too oppressing to keep on going. It is a talk of finding warmth, tenderness and love in the most unrealistic context... with the most unexpected person (a step brother)... A discovery that changed Yong Jie life completely... feeling what true warmth and being care was about... having his empty days fulfill with a sense of future and happiness.... a new sense of possibilities and opening doors. And yet for Yong Jie after all the past years the fear of losing that won warmth from Simon was still there... a sense of uncertainty was still there... a strong desire of not letting go but of melting together as one had been increasing... more and more... A wish of not letting go, but of becoming one together. This confession moves Simon completely... as they are both about to break into tears... holding hands... and Simon just squeezes Yong Jie's hand harder. The writer did once again an incredible job... specially leaving this scene open for us to imagine the way it ends. The morning after this intense day when Yong Jie sees Simon at home he can't just believe his eyes... He stands there with a mix of perplexity and excitement. They day he was preparing for had arrive. Simon was there after spending the night. He didn't go way but waited for Yong Jie to wake up. "Are you back home for good?"... he manages to ask. And Simon's answer just give him the complete power to move forward: "No just for a night. I will make sure that you can come back home completely." For many this line my seem childish but is SO STRONG...! O M G...!! Simon is in chock... The person he has been wishing for (somebody who loves him a lot and is strong enough to be by his side when he tells his father to be gay) is suddenly standing in front of him and holding his hands. Yong Jie reassures what he just said caressing Simons hand: "You don't need to feel afraid anymore. I will make sure that you can come back home." Simon is so moved that he can hold the tears... so Yong Jie takes him to the bathroom for him to calm down.... but Simon can't do that and breaks completely. Simon most be thinking: "Is this possible?. Can Yong Jie be truly meaning all of this...? Does Yong Jie loves me back so much to go this far...?" Many questions that for sure will be deal with next Sunday. The chemistry and acting of both of them is excellent. They have achieve that mix of holding back and desire that such complicated relationships bring to life beautifully and I can just congratulate both of them for this achievement. Yong Ji: "Ven aquí a la cornisa conmigo y te diré por qué te amo". Hermano mayor: "Oh, mierda. Buda sálvame ..." 🙏 No amenaza con saltar. Le dice a su hermano que esto es lo que sentí cuando era niño (aterrorizado y al borde del desastre). Por la mañana, Yong Ji se sorprende al ver que su hermano no ha salido de la casa. "Te vas a mudar de regreso a casa, ¿verdad? Ahora no hay razón para permanecer alejado. Sé por qué te fuiste, te digo que está bien que regreses a casa ahora". El hermano mayor se sorprende de que Yong Ji descubra por qué se fue de casa y comienza a llorar.
