I knew about it before hand and how cheap it was but after watching Gura having so much fun playing it i got it. I think she said "this game is only $3!!!" like 5 times or more during the stream, not trying to sell the game but more like look at how much fun this game is and it's so cheap.

Despite loving the game, I think the "cheap"-part is, what makes it. If this was, like, 10 bucks or so...no one would buy it. But in my country it's 2,39 €. It's cheaper than buying food from a street vendor. I couldn't even ride the bus with that money, it's so cheap. As some other commenter once said, the time and enjoyment I got out of Vampire Survivors feels like I ripped off the developers.

@@manticore6963 exactly, it’s because its so cheap that people aren’t afraid to immediately buy it to try it out, only to find out its actually fun and addictive. Nowadays people are afraid to spend money just to “try out” a game that they aren’t even sure if its fun and worthwhile, which is very understandable and relatable. Kinda hard to find fun games nowadays, especially when u dont have friends to play with.

I saw Gura playing it and looked up the price. Immediately bought it to try since its so cheap

The game is great fun and hits that struggle/reward cycle perfectly. It's _immensely_ satisfying when you start to just melt enemies after struggling to that point.

That's true but for vets who can pretty much breeze through the early stages with ease, I just hope we get an update to boost the end game difficulty. It's pretty much just a waiting game once you've assembled your items.

I saw a clip of a Hololive member playing it, Korone I think it was and she was having so much fun, I decided to look it up, saw the price and bought it, because $4 (Aussie) is a total steal for a game. The rest is history as they say. ;)

It really is great fun for only $4....but if streamers hadn't played it most of us (including me) would never had known about it. I hope other devs take notice of both these facts.
