【Identity V】What is Transitional Kite? Best Kiting Method against Sculptor, BonBon, Vio and so on

Hell Ember: -Don't tight kite even he has zero presence cuz eventually you'll die when he charged his trait and an infernal soUL (I got knocked down by a Top Hell Ember real quick in an early game when he waited his patroller to cool down and deployed an infernal soul to hit me once then follow up with his normal attack) So I think transitional kiting counters him best. Joker: -Since he has rocket dash that can catch you up while transitioning. You better tight kite him with a strong area with tall walls (so he has many blind spots). Use one pallet at a time per area as possible cuz you don't want to hog all the pallets early game and left with nothing during mid game to late game. Jack: -Many Ripper users depend on peepers (Ye to hit you with foggy too). Peepers debuffs your movement SO you better stay away from THEM! Transitional kiting counters this strategy btw (Once a ripper planted a peeper to an area where he thinks you'll kite, it would be wasted if you get away from that peeper). -Welp when he already unlocked his third skill wherein he's invisible with an additional movement speed, :') just always look behind you to check his red light and foggy blade animation Gamekeeper: -RUN AWAY FROM HIM OR HE'LL HOOK YER BOOTY! Always keep a distance when kiting him cuz when you tight kite Bane, he can slow you down to death while banging thru walls. Soul Weaver: -Transitional kiting is the best to counter this gaL cuz y'know once you're in her territorial webs, it's either she'll get a movement speed or you'll get a movement debuff. Geisha: -Tight kiting a Geisha = unli pallet stuns BUT don't get too cocky cuz top Geisha mains knows how to bug dash 😂 you'll get rekt (Yea once in Moonlit slides, I got early terror shocked by a Geisha while I'm sliding she dashed then hit me... Plus don't use roller coaster while getting away with a Geisha cuz when the timing is right, she can terror shock you after dashing even the coaster is already working) -Transitional kiting against Geisha I think is her best counter since she's slow when in Prajna form/when her mask is on. Don't forget to tap the counter dash button or she'll catch yer booty! (I once kited a Geisha as Priestess in Eversleeping Town and I used portals and pallets to create distance from her and I didn't let her long dash me. Turns out I wasted her three minutes only catching up on me hehe) Feaster: -DON'T TIGHT KITE AT ALL COST! DO YOU WANT HIS TENTACLES TO SLAP YOU? Transitional kiting counters his ewie tentacles and PLS don't let him chair you cuz camping Feaster is a LAW! -Always look for an area where there are tall walls so Feaster can't command his tentacles whenever a wall is blocking his sight Joseph: -Since he doesn't have a good ability to chase, use a transitional kite against him so he'll have a hard time catching yer up. -Joseph mains usually bring blink so when be careful when kiting him! And be aware of his time jump in full presence when you're tight kiting him. Wu Chang: -You'll have a hard time doing a transitional kite against this hunter cuz of his unli teleport. -Beware when tight kiting Black form cuz he can bell you through pallet and force you to not drop it! -Tight kiting white form isn't that hard BUT don't forget that his hit box is BIG! He can trap you between a an enclosed area with a thrown pallet that can guarantee a hit from him. (Blind spots too when he's using peepers) Mad Eyes: -Dodge his fences or hide inside a locker 👀 Dream Witch: -Transitional kiting counters her best. (She'll switch up back and forth to her main body and followers while catching up to you) -PLUS when you're leeched and you used tight kite against her, you're so dead cuz she can trap you between two followers. Axe Boy: -Old Axe boy can be countered via transitional kiting cuz he can't shoot fireballs outta corrupted area BUT the NEW BUFFED AXE BOY isn't the same anymore... Once you used transitional kiting against him, you'll get a movement debuff while running away from a corrupted area which is a reason where he can catch ye up. -I think tight kiting him is better tho you really need to be careful of his fire balls... Plus when you moved to a safer area away from fireballs, he'll plant a tree anyways... Luchino: -I don't get a match with him literally so I don't have the rights to conclude which kiting technique counters this lizard man best. Bloody Queen: -You'll have a hard time creating distance from her since she has mirrors that will help her catch ye up. -Tight kiting BQ isn't as bad as tight kiting territorial hunters such as Feaster and Soulweaver but BQ can trap you in an enclosed area and her mirror so BEWARE! (examples are the shacks... don't let a BQ use a mirror in shack cuz she'll guarantee a hit!) -Well I always use transitional kiting against a BQ cuz for my experience it is the best. BonBon: -Like feaster... Transitional kiting works for him the best and don't let this guy chair you cuz you don't want camping Bonbon kill you and your teammate at a single time! Ann: -Trust me... Transitional kite counters this hunter tho she has the greatest movement speed among all the hunters! Just dodge her meow meows and you'll be fine! Antonio: -DON'T TIGHT KITE AT ALL COST! You'll get trapped between his notes. - Since he isn't the fastest hunters... RUNAWAY FROM THIS LONG HAIRED GUY SO HE'LL HAVE A HARD TIME CATCHING UP ON YER BOOTY! Galatea: -DON'T tight kite this gAL if you don't want to die... DON'T go to enclosed areas when kiting this gAL or she'll sandwitch you with her statues.

Yesterday I kite violinist using mechanic for 200 seconds and I stun him with 5 pallets. 😂😂

I always use this type of kiting against every hunter, its why Geisha is my worst nightmare XD. Its pretty safe and im sure the average person can learn it.

i main violinist and transition kiting always makes it harder bc of his slow movement speed never use windows and pallets like this vid said unless hes on cooldown and you know for a fact you can get a speed boost, when you start to not get hit by his ability i usually wait and see what the survivors do, so keep in mind to either run away from the first note if hes far if not make your movements hard to read. this wont always work but it will keep you alive 80% of the time, use walls to your advantage if there's no peepers, if there are just contine running but pay attention to when he uses his ability, also this isnt just for violinist but if you can learn the cooldowns of the hunters abilities that will greatly help when you know to watch out for certain things

I love transition kite, it minimum the amount of pallet i waste and also minimum the rate of having mistake. I kited 5 cipher Bon Bon thank to transition kite yeah

I have to say thank you for all these amazing videos! When I started learning to kite everyone was telling me to tight kite and loop to the point I started believing switching my kite location so often is just “ running in a straight line”, I managed to kite sculpture 3 ciphers and we won because I followed your tips in this vid!

As a seer main i learn, transitional kiting, its better to put a lot of distance since when i used my owl i have a slow vaulting speed

I like how you still manage to rebound after getting chaired, like thats what will make me feel nice as I usually dont have high hopes on my kiting skills when getting chaired

tho dont look behind for a long time cause ive seen that you kept being blocked by obstacles

Would Postman be a decent (maybe even good) transition kiter due to pounce? Only problem is blink can just be used to get a hit.

Transitional kiting is really good against bonbon, I'm a hound rank and I was using mechanic but I practically kited the bonbon the whole game(they had a B badge)

Every time I kite I get downed in like 5 secs or I do a rlly good one and the hunter leaves me and kills everyone else 😭😭🤣🤣
