Massive respect for trying Morley's. Along with fish and chips, we've also got a massive chicken and chips shop culture here in the UK I thought I'd my pros and cons about London: + Lively + Multicultural + Plenty to do + Weather (yes, I prefer colder weather) + Food culture (Fish and chips, chicken and chips, English breakfast etc.) + Famous tourist spots + Entertaining scenes - Cost - Can be overwhelming - Certain areas are... undesirable, to say the least P.S Thanks for complimenting the English accent
Still love seeing your travel videos and getting to ask locals their opinions on where you're visiting. The "censor beep" timing was off near the end when you cursed and I found it very funny actually 😂 Can't wait to see where you're off to next!
I love interviews from native, that's always interesting ^^ I already had visited London in the past and what I like is: the peoples they are so amazing and friendly the tea 🤤🤤🤤 their breakfast 🤤🤤🤤 Big Ben !!!!!!!!! The Queen's Guard from Buckingham Palace, this guys are so cool 😂😂😂. and what I dislike in London, honestly nothing I really enjoyed my time in London ^^. Thanks for the video George, greetings from Belgium.
Tea is great, I drink tea 4+ times a day The things I love are: + Tube (#1 on every list actually) & Oyster Card + Easy transport to other cities both in and out of England (+Eurostar) + Easy train trips from historic stations (King's Cross, Paddington, Victoria, Charing Cross, ..) + Fish & Chips + Tea & Scones & Biscuits + Historical buildings, secret alleys, and museums practically everywhere (and more than half of them are free) + Beautiful and plentiful greenspaces (parks, gardens, heaths) are never far + Lots of supermarket options and all very tasty, too + Bread (especially compared to America) + Chicken, notably Nando's + Politeness & Diversity Things I don't like as much: - Expensive - Groups of people that are pissed (drunk) - Phone snatchers
Glad you had a good time! 🇬🇧 Now you have had Morleys you have lived the true London experience 😂 If you come back again the best times of year I would recommend are May/June or September - the cold has fully gone and you are also missing the heatwaves (which suck in our non-AC having houses!)
what i hate about london its more like what i hate about the Uk in general the bloody weather , for what i love is the amount of different kinds of stores there are and i tend to always find something new which makes me feel like im exploring the unknown
I think every place has good and bad things but I would definitely hate the weather in London 🥶🌧 I like the British accent, it's so charming 😍 glad you liked London! I'm looking forward to seeing what the food is like in Belgium, the chocolates are great 🍫 see ya George 👋
It's not normally that cold it averages 4-6⁰c in January. I'm in the northeast (New Hampshire) part of the United States we have been around 0⁰c during the day and -7⁰c at night. We had a 2 nights we where at -26c
@@freyja4954 omg, -26c! I would feel like a penguin 🥶 where I live (Kobe, near Osaka) we rarely have snow. This year the average temperature was 12c during the day and around 3c at night. The days were sunny so the cherry trees are already in bloom.
@marcia shiraishi The cherry trees are starting to bud about 6 hours South of me at the moment. It'll be another 2 to 3 weeks before they will be in my area. It really does come down to clothing though. There is a major difference between American houses and most Japanese houses. My house is very well insulated. I heat with wood that is cut off of my property. My house is 20⁰c all winter, even in the worst weather.
It doesn't seem like the weather in London is very popular 😅. The weather here in Canada is crappy too, I shouldn't be dissing London. You seem to be getting addicted to tea everywhere, did you get to try mate tea in Brazil? I know a lot of people who drink mate every single day. Thanks for the video, have a safe trip!
I am Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro. Lived in London as a child for more than 5 years , from 8 to 13 years. What I love about London is nothing, what I hate about London is everything, especially the horrible British food! As an adult I went back to London many times because my mom still lived there for many years, she even acquired a British citizenship. And I still hate London, for me as a child and an adult it's a horrible city. But my mom likes it, she only came back to Riol ast year because she developed breast cancer, and private healthcare is much better in Brazil than England.
So glad you enjoyed your time in London. I enjoyed it as well. I went in May/June and had the most pleasant weather. Sunny, warm and very little rain. Such a nice surprise as I was expecting gray skies, rain, and cold. For me, as an American, I found the lack of ice and iced drinks very frustrating. I still talk about how hard it was to find ice! Lol
