I love how clean the side of the expressways are here in the states there just fill with tires and parts to cars that seem to never get cleaned up.

Thank you for driving in Japan! I live in Chiba but my mother's parents' home are in Fukushima so I sometimes use Tohoku expressway. Due to covid-19,I can't go to Fukushima so this video brings back memories.😢

We have old japanese roads in iraq from 1987 lol, it's incredible how well preserved they are even after the war. They literally look like they were just built.

Considering this is the longest Expy. In Japan, it’s still 74 miles shorter than the NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY at almost 500 miles. And that’s just one state versus a whole country. Usage of I-87 (Queens-Manhattan to Montreal, Canada), & I-90 (Boston Logan Airport to Seattle, WA.). Though I do love that they use Rounded instead of Pointy for their exit signs. They also go numerical like New York.

I was just once in Japan, in 2015, but travelled mostly by train, as the rail pass is really affordable.
