I see a lot of comments like this one, I love how the lyrics to CircusP’s songs can resonate with so many people in so many different situations! They’ve helped me a lot too with processing my feelings during rough times and unhealthy relationships. I’m glad things are better for you now, no one should ever have to go through the pain of an abusive friendship

IKR IKR IM SO STUNNED BY THE TALKOID!! It’s must be really hard to get a vocaloid to talk clearly, with emotion, with the right intonation, AND while sounding so good that it adds to the song instead of distracting from it, but CircusP did an absolutely stunning job at all of that!!

Like like, the way he said “everyone,” the way he said “won’t be going to you,” it really sounded perfectly like someone who was hurting and bitter and mockingly reciting the lines of an award ceremony to express his feelings, yknow? I’m not sure if I expressed what I wanted to say properly, but I hope it made sense!

@@axuwu6939 YES, EXACTLY THAT. Like he was exposing the person (Luka?) in front of others and he couldn't just not finish, but the feelings are there and you can feel how hard it is for him to say everything that even I he has to and he will cry in any moment. Oh my God I had never heard such a human tunning, when thinking about emotion rather than inflection, pronunciation and other stuff.

@@karenrosero2288 YES YES!! I don’t know if I’m projecting at this point, but at the start of some of his words, he sounds choked up like he’s about to cry! Also, again maybe I’m projecting, but this whole song is such a beautiful mix of complicated emotions. A lot of it feels bitter, sad, tragic, full of grief and betrayal, but in the moments when it’s softer and quieter, it sounds like under all of Kaito’s pain, he has hope that he can move on. It sounds like he still has love for Luka(?), wants what’s best for her, and hopes that she can move on too and be happy. The most painful part about being betrayed by someone you love is that no matter how much it hurts, no matter how much you want to hate them, no matter how justified you are in wanting them to hurt too, there’s always a part left of your heart that loves them. Or at least loves the person you thought they were before the hurt. And this song captured the complexity of those emotions beautifully! The music video too!! The thorny vines wrapping around him while he tries to hold on to a sad smile, to me at least it gave the impression that he’s putting on an act that everything is okay in the hopes that they can both move on without being hurt further, but his emotions are dragging him back, telling him to not forgive, to get revenge, making him want Luka to struggle with the guilt of hurting him for the rest of her life. Also, the lines “think of me as you face the crowd, to find the one you’re after, your new lead actor” especially felt like they captured that mix of emotions! In some parts of the song, it sounds genuine. “Please don’t forget me, but also I hope you can be happy with the new person you have.” Other moments though, it sounds harsher and sarcastic, like “think of how much you hurt me, was it worth it for your new ‘actor’?” Other times it just sounds sad, like the difference between when he says “ready to take you away” vs “ready to take center stage.” Anyway, that’s just my two cents on the song, I’d love to hear everyone else’s perspective because there’s always so much room for interpretation!! I hope I was able to say my thoughts properly, it’s always so hard to put things into the right words ^^;;

@@axuwu6939 OH GOD. I actually deleted a first comment because it was so long but now I see others think exactly the same. Yes! The thorns did it for me in the video, like his emotions are eating up at him even if he tries to keep an act to retire in a decent way trying to keep his dignity after that terribly wrong ending for a relationship, but also the change of "art" when depicting Kaito seeing Luka(?) and Gumi(?). To me it's a song about finding out a truth that hurts, but still having the courage to reveal that up in a way to keep your head up after being lied to and deceived. It's so evident he still holds dear (Luka?) and how much it hurts him to do so and be "brutally honest" not only with her but others, too. "Closing the curtains before her next move". Also the part about being the talk of the town but Luka(?) being the clown was SAVAGE. Like he felt bad for her at some point for having to let others know for the way he would end the relationship first, revealing everything, but he knows it's fair for him, and also maybe hoping she won't do this again with that new "actor". The stage metaphor, the visual representations, the music building and hitting hard at specific moments, the incredible emotional tunning, everything surprised me dearly. Only Circus could pull out something like this. Seems hard when comparing to 1/4 for example, to do a better work at everything considering the similar concept and details, bu he surpassed his previous works by leaps and bounds. Bravissimo.
