If you're concerned about the lyrics being explicit despite the main character being a child, I thought about that too, but I'm pretty sure the song, for the most part, is the mother addressing her patrons, rather than her daughter. The lyrics of the chorus are pretty much divorced from the visuals, or at least that's the conclusion I came to. It could ALSO be that, rather than referring to Mary Anne losing her virginity, it's referring to a loss of innocence upon discovering her mother's true self, because the former would be VERY disgusting.
You both are right she is a grown woman dreaming about her past her name i think is chelsea.she dreams that scene because she wants to have a relationship with lewis the man who saved her
i came here from the haikyuu version tbh, and now i'm officially adding it to my playlist since none of the people around me knows what the lyrics mean
"You can wield an army of men, make them bend, head on ground Eros will shoot them down" Are probably my favourite lyrics tbh, there's something so powerful about them.
To anyone making a point about chelsea (the little girl) being a kid. Its because at this point of the royal scandal album she's dreaming about her past. Aka when she hasn't been taken yet by someone (the mad hatter) to the orphanage due to her mother practically forcing her into the business she's in when chelsea found out. In the end you can see her being taken by the Mad Hatter away from the place and she wakes up in the bar where she works.
It's wordplay Eros as in the greek god of love and also the concept of sexual love, as well as arrows Arrows shot by Eros get it random commenter (I would say this to the one who said that but I can't so here ya go)
i come back to this song every year and i always fall back in love with this cover. its devastating to see your subscribers arent at 500k and even more! you're an amazing singer
RU-vid you had one job to do, just one! And only now, on the 13th, do I find out my favorite screaming boi uploaded one of my favorite songs? RU-vid, your officially cancelled. PS. “If you are thirsty, then you had better get on your knees” You know, Umber most people just offer me a glass of water but I’ll bow because I love ya.
So basically the little girl Marryanne ("Alice") was adopted by the "Queen of Hearts." She probably had a good time there and was very happy until she saw her now "mother" doing "that" and realized this place was a whorehouse. Her "mother" decided that its time for Maryanne to get into the business as well and send the Madhatters after her. In the end Maryanne was rescued by a barkeeper which will continue in the following song "cherry hunt". Very short version but i hope it makes a little sense
My fist time listening to your music, honestly I didn't expect much because not many people can pull this off. But you did brilliantly, good job. Keep up the interesting content.
I'm hoping to do the whole series eventually! I have the lyrics to REVOLVER mostly finished, so that one will be next when I finally get around to it. It'll probably be a while before I get to Bitter Sweet because I have a bunch of other songs I've been planning to cover as well haha
@@UmbraticForest Thanks for your respond to my comment, I can't wait rest of your continuations of this series. Notably while you're the only one or okay, maybe one of the artists which I'm able to count on my one hand that makes covers to this! ^^
I didn't know what I was expecting but thank goodness I had headphones on!!! I mean nobody in the house would notice the lyrics to this song in Japanese but I don't know what would happen if they hear this version. I could imagine my self with a nosebleed though 😏😏
My all time favorite (yet) of this Royal Scandal series is "Beast in the Beauty". You can get the reason why if you watch the MV and English sub 😁💞 (unless you already watch it). Also I love your cover. Great job there 👍🎶😍
This has to be one of the deepest songs you've sung that I've heard thus far -- I really like it, but be careful not to strain your voice too much with those deeper notes!
So basically this song is the second installment of the Royal Scandal series. The first song is Cherry Hunt, and this song basically delves into a traumatic event the singer of Cherry Hunt went through as a child. The song is sung from her mother (the "Queen of Hearts") perspective. The story is the girl discovering her mother is a prostitute and her mother ordering her patrons to kill her in order to protect herself. At least that's my interpretation. I think there's a manga but I haven't read it
me before:-watching haikyuu captain singing this-koro sa you ni,ika sa you ni kowareru made aisheta ageru me after:.....-regret watching english ver-nah,i like it
My favourite song is about sex. I knew that as I speak Japanese and Korean as well as Chinese fluently. But everyone else here is so surprised like lmao
