I visited an antique market (fair) held at Toji Temple in Kyoto on the 21st of every month. Along with the Tenjin Market at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, this is one of the two major antique markets in Kyoto.
There are many stalls in the precincts of To-ji Temple, selling antiques, ceramics, woodwork, lacquerware, old clothes, old tools, etc., as well as food !
You will have a great time there, experiencing Japanese culture and eating delicious Japanese snacks when you get hungry😁

Hours: 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. according to the website. However, opening hours vary depending on weather, season, and store. If you go early in the morning, the stores are preparing, so personally I would suggest going as early as 8:00, usually around 9:00.
Payment Method Cash is the basic method of payment. Some stores accept QR code payment and credit cards, but not many.
