This is very first time for me to use Lewitt's microphone. Both LCT440 PURE and LCT 540 SUBZERO are very nice. I personally would like to buy LCT 440 PURE, If my room treated for recording (less noise, less room resonance) . LCT440 Pure perform almost same as LCT540 SUBZERO and which means LCT440 PURE is one of the high cost performance microphone. Unfortunately, my room is just average room for living. In Japanese we have very small room if compere to European country. which means I have to recording with more noise and more room resonance. In this case, I would like to buy LCT540 SUBZERO. Repairing software such as iZotope RX can't take all those noise and resonance easily. However I do not have to worry much if I record my voice by LCT540 SUBZERO. LCT540 SUBZERO will isolate noise and room resonance in good way and make my recording better with out any struggle. Incredible microphones!
@@inst-web Thank you for the video.. im just in the process of deciding between these two microphones. To my ears 440 sounds better. 540 sounds somehow more compressed and filtered low end..to push more detail out.what is your experience? it seems to me that the 440 is original and 540 is a little effected to lower the noise floor
OMG! you have very good ear than i do. If compire with specifications, 540 wins. regarding my video, I use two mics but I only have my voice. I wish if i could have someone else to test these mics with me. it may helps you more if any shops near your place have those mics for test.
@@inst-web Thank you. Yeah the 540 does sound really good. It has a nice footprint just a little thinner/flatter even more likable than 440 but it lacks a little bit of dynamics compared to 440 in my opinion. I guess i will test them and see. Thank you again
