10 inf atk and 10 army atk produce the exact same results in inf blast, so armystat and individual stat is the same. I think when people say individual stat is more important, they don't mean individual stat has greater effect but instead they mean individual stat is much easier add so it's more cost-efficient in improving your account.

That's an interesting way to determine the inf count which makes total sense!

Ideally your leader should be dark magister and swap rose knight out for shape shifter. So the entire line-up should be barbarian, steambot, child of light, shapeshifter and dark magister.

208 will be crushed by 055 because it's got a lot of ranged. 055 has no inf so any comp high in rng will do.

Sorry for the belated reply , but as far as I know 20k may be able to withstand the first round of attack by enemy ranged. However, the chance of this against stronger player is not very promising so I'd say 20k and 4 buffers have identical mechanistic effect in most cases. On the contrary, more buffers could lead to higher chance of defeat due to sustaining more casualties.

@@fallenlonewolf Just so you know, bumping up the rng to around 150k will cause a drastic mechanistic shift that may benefit 208 by a lot against rng wedge(a conventional counter formation against 208), but make sure you test it yourself and know better about the movements and the physics of squads before using it in real situations since the number of rng troops is quite sensitive.

That's a good question, the majority of the situations in which 208 is used can indeed be dealt better using 055. That's just because of lack of knowledge. However, 208 can't always be replaced by 055. 055 is always depenent on inf buffers so after 1 hit 055 can't take a second hit. 208 can potentially take a second hit with about 1m less cav because the ranged buffer would still be there. So in intense wow 208 might be preferred. Also, when enemy has 122 hero comp, 055 will become less effective, maybe as effective as 208. Also 208 may be able to deal with higher ranged count better than 055. But I do think people are using 208 just because it's popular.

@@crystalbriefs So what are the situations where 055 is more effective? More cav oriented 424 like 749? Cause from what you said I have the impression that 208 has same usage but is more versatile. At the same time, 208 055 992 are all used to knock out 424ish variants (at least that what you said are the targets) I assume they are rather not used to defend since they seem to be easily counterable (besides playing mindgames where you keep the comp thinking your oponent assumes you will swap). So are there any formations with similar purpose but to target 442ish comps? And my last concern, for all those 3 comps people are required(ideally) to sit in range phalanx, I lack a deeper insight of what if it turns out to not be range phalanx, what result can I expect. I think thats a lot of questions so I don't expect you to reply here but maybe something to take look into in future videos since you plan to come back.

@@Schrupywacz 055 can deal with the opponent with wider gap in stats than 208 can "without carpet". 208 may often necessitate carpet use. But as of now carpets are getting cheaper so the value of not wasting carpets might have decreased. For the questions in the latter half I'll try to address in my future videos.
