When I came to Malaysia this time, I wanted to try all the Michelin Bib Gourmands (street Michelin) that I had never eaten before, but I didn’t expect that a batch of new restaurants would be added in 2024. I feel that this wish cannot be achieved! 😂😂😂
Tell the truth! I have been to Kuala Lumpur many times, but I have never seriously visited the attractions. I basically just tasted various delicacies. In this video, I share two Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants, one is a niche (I think) Lei Cha, and the other is It is the fish head rice that I like very much. I have eaten fish head rice dishes before, but this is the first time I try the super popular Haijiren!

💡The newly shortlisted Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant in Kuala Lumpur in 2024, the signature feature is He Po Yuan Lei Cha
Lei Tea originated from China. In the early years, the Chinese immigrated to Malaysia and retained the custom of drinking Lei Tea. And we continue to improve and adapt to local conditions to create Leicha with Malaysian characteristics. They believe that medicine and food come from the same source, and Leicha soup belongs to medicinal food and is beneficial to health if drank regularly.

⏲Business hours: 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day, please note that there may be changes on Tuesday/Wednesday
💰30~60 per capita
💡Little tip: It has been recommended for 2 consecutive years. The Michelin profile says that their owner also operates a seafood stall, so the seafood in the restaurant is all fresh seafood from northern Borneo. The combination of seafood and rice noodles is not the most common among beachside people, but it also best embodies the taste of the sea.
The menu seems to have a lot of ingredients, but in fact the order of ordering is to choose the dish ~ soup base ~ staple food. His signature is marked on the menu. The most popular ones are the mixed seafood rice noodles and fish head rice in milk soup. Personally, I think the mixed seafood rice noodles and the clear soup are delicious. The aroma of Huadiao wine and the fresh and sweet taste of seafood are the perfect combination. It really tastes like wine. If you don’t like wine, you can choose porridge, or make a note with the ordering staff. Grouper fillet porridge is also good. For crabs, they have several choices. The most delicious one is of course the butter crab~! As for snacks, my favorite is the fried soft-shell crab dipped in purple custard sauce? You can also order seafood a la carte.
