I like how everyone automatically assumes the Meowscular chef is going to cook, if you’re the head chef you only rarely cook for just one person, the other chefs cook and you as the head chef oversee, especially if it’s a canteen like this

@@tadferd4340 Not really, more like depends on the size of the restaurant even if it's Japanese restaurant, if the kitchen only have like 5-6 cooks normally the head chef would cook as well, but if it's way bigger than that then the task of a head chef is more on monitoring and making sure the procedures being followed while the leading of cooking is given to sous chef (sushefu in Japan) or chef de cuisine, and head chef is the one who provides all the recipes and menu as well.. But there are some occasions where the head chef would directly cook, like in teppanyaki and sushi for example, head chef normally cooks for the VIP customer..

Impression it always gave me was just his skills are only needed for the biggest and most extravagant dishes so he just oversees and does the final touch for the lower tier meals.

Technically you could consider fish to be a type of meat. I mean, it's still considered meat, but it just comes from the sea rather than the land

@@princeofpokemon2934 of course. Absolutely. If we eat fish, then do we want to call the part of the fish we eat "Fish"? where the term means the name of the whole subjectively. Technically, if we say "eating fish" in the true sense it means we will eat the entire body of the fish including the bones. of course, we eat fish which is technically meat (and it tastes delicious especially Tuna and Salmon which is impossible for me to afford.)

I know how you feel man. That Grandma Kitty also reminds me of my grandmother before she passed away in 2016. Every time I see that Grandma Kitty in this video, it makes me smile because it reminds me so much of the times my grandmother cooked for me when I was just a kid and all the time my mom cooks for me as well. No matter what restaurant you go to, there is nothing that can beat home cooking from your mom, dad, grandma, aunt, uncle, or any other Guardian in your family

The portable games made by the "B" team in Monster Hunter usually follow a "faster" gameplay loop. That's why in Portable 3rd we had hot spring drinks, in Generations-Ultimate we had the fondue skewers and now in Rise the dangos. They could break that tradition in the game after Wilds but who knows.

@@aberomoa5149 the meals from Portable 2nd/G (Freedom/Unite) follows the same structure as World where you mix and match the food for different effects. Even the way the food is cooked and how it looks like is really similar.

Mainline games typically have meals where as side titles like Rise have alternatives. Portable 3rd had onsen instead of food for example.

I find it funny that they get the “Meat Platter” and then they’re like “wait that’s fish” and they never pay attention to the steak on the opposite side. Meat is part of it dang it! Especially Noel. Poor girl didn’t see the meat cube kabob plunged in a plank near the fish. There’s even meat in the soup. God Noel and everyone else in this video can be so adorable (well except the male ones)

No one does. (in the culinary sense) Sea foods and land food are given different names as they're extremely different, meat generally refers to white and red meat from mammals and reptiles (Tho usually just mammal), poultry being avians, and Fish meat is... just called fish lol If you say 'Meat' to a chef its shorthand for " domestic mammal" basically (Pig, cow, sheep, goat but non-exotic) Cooking terms make no god damn sense
