【MH4U】All Relic Armors & Where to Get them

We spent a lot of time making this video, so I hope it helps you a little bit.
All of those armors shown in the video can be obtained exclusively by succeeding in Guild Quests.
If you complete a Guild Quest, you may get rewarded with battered, seasoned, venerable, champions or beshackled armors depending on the level of your quest and the monster. The more dangerous a monster is (Jho, Rajang) the earlier you can get beshackled armors which are the best out of these 5, since they almost exclusively drop Rar8 - Rar10 equip. So look out for those! Most quests drop them from Lv.136 upwards except for Jho or Rajang guild quests which start to give beshackleds from Lv.126.
You may ask yourself "why is one of my relic armors glowing and one's not"
Well I figured out that Rar10 armors glow very often, where as rar8 armors almost never glow. Rar9 one's should have about a 50% chance to be glowing. It also seems to be more likely do pull a glowing piece along with a +5 skill. But this is just estimated based on my personal experience.
Btw, there's no Fury skill in armors. It only exist in relic weapons.
However, if you go for your favorite relic armor, prepare yourself for countless hours of farming. Not only to get the right quest, in fact leveling up takes a lot of time. We wish you the best of luck! :)

It's such a shame that all these super cool armor sets require insane amounts of tedious grinding. There was such potential here with relics but they goofed big time.. It took me literally WEEKS to create just 2 sets. And I was unemployed, playing basically all day every day. All for 2 freaking sets. What a massive waste of time. And it is HELLA boring fighting the same monster literally 50+ times in a row. It's just not worth it.

+Tirta Firdaus I don't think Generations has relics at all. I was hoping they would fix them, rather than get rid of them but oh well.

+diru 90 Totally agree with you guys. The RNG with relics, both weapons and armors was way too grindy. Admittedly though, I loved the system itself that you get relics which can be slightly better than normal weapons by doing really hard 140 quests. It is kinda sad that there is no such system in MHGen anymore. However, there is the variant quests which can be leveled up to LV10 I think and apparently you can upgrade every single forgeable weapon design to the max, which is a really nice feature considering all the nice weapons we never used just because they changed design once you maxed them to Rar9 or Rar10. But maybe these changes are good, I mean we eventually get some nice fresh wind in the series :D

Sorry if this is already explained, but what determines "Set A" and "Set B," etc.? If a quest has, say, Freedom Series A/B/C/D/E/F, which ones would have Set A or Set B? I'm confused as there are usually fewer sets (Set A, Set B, maybe Set C) than Series letters.

I just need an Edge Lore +5 Rebellion waist that glows and is the right design DX this is gonna take a while but it will be worth it in the end! Nice vid it really helps! after I finish the Rebellion set I think I will make the GX Hunter skin armor. Keep up the fantastic work!

well, i dont have anything else to do in gen, so im going to farm relics to get my ultimate set for CB, it will take a lifetime, but i will have honed blade, steady hand, artillery expert and mushromancer (just cause my charm have 6+mycology +14 artillery) The plan is +5 Edgemaster weapon +4 Edgemaster head +1 Edgemaster chest 3 slots arms +5 Edge lore waist +5 Edge lore legs +14 artillery +6 mycology charm that will keep me bussy untill stories came to west xD

I have to say, this is some impresive work, now, my question is... how the hell do I get the GQ I actually want, hahaha is gonna take a while I think. so, once I get, the monster I need with the bias I want, is just a matter of luck until I get, the correct piece of armor, with the correct stat and the freaking set model right?? wow, this actually takes more than just a couple runs... thnks, and I think I speak for everyone when I say it!

+Li'sar MH Those are the items you want to get rewarded with at the end of a guild quest. You should play the game in english. If you did, you wouldnt ask.^^ Beshackled armors /weapons drop from high level monsters. Where as battered largely come from lower level monsters.

King Ghost A bit to hard for my taste. solo it takes an eternity to finish it atleast once because you play as careful as possible and in a team it´s a failure rate of 80%.... Ugh. Farming up a ruby basarios to lvl 126 (i still need the special G rank clearance) with a team went pretty fucking retarded already. I ended up soloing him because everybody i´ve met constantly fainted and usually ended up letting me do the whole thing anyway!

Basically, Beshackled has the best chance at dropping at the some of the highest levels. Guild Level 126+. Then find the monster on this videos list and find it at that level. Relics have near ENDLESS potential, but just a bit tedious if you are trying to find a full set of matching armor with the relic skills you want. Grindy.

looking to get the Rathian set B. two questions: 1) what does Basarios sub mean; Ruby Basarios? 2) when you said that Rathian set B is both blade master and gunner is that referring to the skins being the same for both, or it functions as both; if the latter does that mean that the armors defense will be in between gunner and blade master? sorry guess that's 4 questions...

Can someone -please- help me? I've been trying to get the ingot armour [the one with the golden horns, not the ugly one with multiple eye slits] by getting a Basarios GQ with an Original series bias, i spent ages rerolling for it and finally got it, and after leveling it up, i'm still getting Rathian helmets and the wrong design of Ingot helmet. are the designs randomised completely or is my GQ locked into one specific design?

Relics are good, no, sorry, are great. There's no doubt about that. And this information is very helpful :3 But honestly, it will take too much time to get all of those sets. And fighting rajang 10-20 times in a row is...rather....boring. Not that i can win easily, it just.....not colourful.......

Can anyone please clear something for me? I just got a "Hunt 1 Velocidrome and 1 Brachydios" GQ that has Original Series D (Head). If I leveled it up all the way to 136, will I be getting Zinogre's Head Piece? I ask this because I'm confused. The term right-hand Rajang made me assume that the monster with the desired equipment would be on the right side, but they say the left monster is relevant. So, I don't know if I'll get Zinogre Sub equipment.

Um sorry, still a noobs,i wanna ask bout the zinogre u set, that appear on 10.53, there's set a and set b, so i wanna ask now i have the seregios and kirin GQ with freedom and original series D and C, So the question is, i already done both of em like 7/8 times, but they keep dropping the waist like the set a, but i want the set B one, so if i keep do the same Q, is that possible to get that set B waist? Or i need another specific quest for set B? If yes, can you tell me the detail? I only need the waist, thanks and sorry for my bad english

+kirigaya kazuto A quest which gives Zino U drops ALL of the different designs. What you need is Tigrex Sub or Brachydios all series, letters C or D and level up to 140. Then you look out for beshackled armors.

Some may have 100% damascus drop, some may 50% drop e.g. damascus ans death stench
