What is this charged slash that doesn't get interrupted with damage? A switch skill?

@@BrazilMJ yeah called "rage slash" I believe. It even gets stronger when you got hit in the animation.

tbf, Rajang is a lot harder in World than in Rise. They really toned down the speed on some of his moves.

It depends on the monster you face, sometimes one option is better than another.

Idk if it's the same for most people but I've been doing better times with the rage slash over the tcs, probably to do with the fact that the rage slash is faster and can eat hits for buffed damage

It's not a power sheath it's a different silkbind move that lets you go straight into strong charge

MH rise was just released and like all MH series at launch, it only has high rank. Iceborne is an expansion and has G rank (master rank) which has a higher difficulty. That's why Rajang here is weaker in comparison.

This is a speed runner, all monster are babies to them.

Its a switch skill for GS that replaces True Charge Slash. You can't get knocked out of that charge and it powers up the damage if you get hit while charging.

Rage slash It absorbs damage to power itself and gives superarmour

The switch skill that replaces GS's True Charged Slash - on a level 3 charge the attack gets powered up by being hit and doesn't stagger you.

He did he's using rage slash there and it basically acts like rocksteady mantle from mhw. He took some damage too so it buffed the attack.

in rise u can replace true charged slash (the third level of gs charge) for rage slash. rage slash will give u superarmor so u don't get knocked back.

IMO, as someone who has played all monster hunters from Dos onward, this game seems to be about on par with past games. It's just high rank.

@@RoboRobotnik I don't know why a lot don't want to admit it but just take the same monsters at the same rank in every monster hunter, just their damages are way higher on the older versions.

​@@eledoneridley4353 Monsters do pretty close to the same damage in this game as they do in games in the past. It's just that there are a lot more tools in this game than past games. Shoulder tackle reduces damage taken, rage blade reduces damage taken, but on any other weapon, the damage is very close to the old games.

It is also just a high rank rajang. G-rank rajang is a different type of beast.

He's right though, MH Rise Rajang seems to be slower.
