i've started playing with SwAxe bc of you! and gotta say it is a fun weapon. for now i charge the gauge and spam ZSD(have power prolonger 3), idk if it is the correct way of playing but i still do the highest damage in the team. any tips? (i love wild swing to sword mode transition combo btw)
i'm honoured to know that you're playing it because of me haha, thank you for the kind words. As for the correct playstyle of SA, there isn't a right or wrong, many players do ZSD spam, but it's just not my thing, personally I feel that the weapon just has so much more to offer than clutch claw + 1 attack and it's really satisfying if you learn how to play grounded. ZSD spam will be high damage for sure because you are doing near constant dps while 'ignoring' most monster mechanics with rocksteady/temporal mantle which other weapons cant really do, but if you eventually feel bored of that style then my advice is to learn how to hop to dodge, manage gauge and morph smoothly from sword to axe. These are the most important things in my opinion for SA, the rest is just practice :D
@@FlawlessMH wow thanks for the tips! now after one zsd my gauge gets emptied and i have to do wild swings again, maybe i will not just spam it as soon as i fill the gauge, i will fill it more and try to manage the gauge. i played with this like 40 times so far (800+ with IG, 600+ with hammer etc)
