@@whymyluckstatsistoolow How do the characters even lift those weapons. I like Monster Hunter Rise but the weapon's sizes had always threw me off, hence why I use the more "normal" looking ones like the Rifle, Katanas or double blades

@@DeVon675 there are hidden lore in all MH game especially in frontier item/armor description and location that the the hunter ancestors are genetically engineered to be superhuman to fight the great dragon war and they capable of fighting countless elder dragon that far more powerful than any modern day elders (except fatalis of course) But that very advance civilization fall by unknown cause And that explains why only some human can fight while other simply can't because they do not have the gene

@@cooperlittlehales6268 unfortunately this actually still adds up… You know with over 51% of the players using nothing but longsword.. like bow is higher up too, but it’s like 2 people. And don’t even get me started on the whole -50 people playing lance.

@@thelostician every second person i meet on mhw pc is using chargeblade. sure there are lots of people using longsword but there are also heeps using cb

@@cooperlittlehales6268 ah of course, the 5th most popular weapon charge blade is only used by 8.3% of players in monster hunter rise and is only not as popular as the long sword, dual blades, light bowgun, bow, great sword, heavy bowgun, switch axe, sword and shield, hunting horn, hammer, and insect glaive. Now I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t sound like number 5 most popular… it sounds like number 12. Only more popular than the lance/gunlance. Don’t BS your statistics, long sword is officially used by 40.2% of players, CB - 8.3%…. It wouldn’t be so inaccurate to say 6 people, now would it. mhw world ended, rise is now. The world statistics no longer have meaning.

All the shielded weapons are, supposedly the hunters are trained to block with their dominant hand cause of how hard the monsters hit

In SnS case, you can use itens while unsheathed and the hand used is the right one. Which is commonly the dominant. Otherwise you would've to drop your sword or stab yourself in the face. Heheh

@@Gabrielcprb I mean in the first game, you had to sheath the weapon anyways to drink potions. By the second game they could have made a left handed potions drinking animation for the SnS.

I think the best way to make this a real weapon would be a sturdy but light metal as the main material, then make it hollow enough to comfortably lift it, and make sure to have comfortable grips so holding it doesn’t hurt. Then in terms of the mechanics I think some gears and proper electronics may work to shift everything around. Now I would love to see this project with gunlance and switchaxe as well.

I mean all humans in monster hunter are descendants of a destroyed ancient civilization who used elder dragons as building materials to make giant structures, one of which was able to reach the outer atmosphere. I’d be surprised if they didn’t have super human strength
