【Mt.AKadake～Jizoone Route】Challenging winter mountain in Japan 

Yatsugatake is one of the most famous area even in winter. Mt.Akadake is the highest peaks in the range.
Two of Maitabi staff members challenged this winter mountain. It's not technically super difficult, but depending on the weather conditions ,everything gets completely different and difficult.
We tented at Gyojyagoya where there is a mountain refuge that opens during limited periods.
Different from sunny first day, second day was miserably foggy and low visibility on the ridge.
We decided to turn back at the ridge because of this unlucky weather.
