This is really cool. Either player would scare the hell outta me across the table, but I am certain both these players have no fear, only respect for one another, Makihito being one of the most creative and consistent Japanese pros, and Kibler on of the greatest american pros and one of the most fair and skilled players of all time.
This was in 2010. Standard keeps changing anyway. I don't understand why you're so surprised by this. It's called rotation. When a new set rotates in, the old one rotates out.
It's not brian's card flipping that annoys me...no, I don't mind that...it's his card layout. It's so bloody messy, I mean they are all over his side of the field. I feel so compulsed to just start sorting it so it's nice like mihara's
@Addede I'm referring to standard & not vintage or legacy, obviously. Why would you think I was referring to Vintage or Legacy? Those games last like 1-3 turns - LOL Hypnotic Specter used to be considered "too powerful", which is why they stopped printing it. When they brought it back, there was a long discussion on whether they should. Now it's hardly "too powerful". It's pretty average, which proves what I'm saying. Creatures today are too powerful, but kids like that. : )
@Lightmane321 why posting that irrelevant comment if you are not aware of the current way of thing in MTG world? Anyhow RDW means Red Deck Wins. Mono red obviously.
Seriously, they should make a 0/15 wall with flying, that can block any number of creatures. A Wall of Glare on steroids. Just to stick it to all of these ridiculously over-powered creatures they have now. That would be fun.
