This stuff is commonplace if you play custom stepmania charts like dragonlady, it looks like hell but turns out to be way easier once you understand it.

You can use more than just a finger to tap rapidly like that when you play on mobile. Or if you're on keyboard, you can use up to 8 buttons, 4 for each line.

99% of rhythm games are Japanese, and Japanese = anime/fanservice. Sorry dude. Rayark's games are more on the serious side, so they don't have as much fanservice, if that's your concern. If the Japanese music is your concern, maybe Crypt of the Necrodancer is more up your alley (you can use your own music).

@@silentprayers728 Odd none of the rhythm games I've played were Japanese, and I do have Crypt of the Necrodancer but don't care about Japanese music, I just liked the gameplay mostly.

so what ones have you played then? Probably only Osu and Guitar Hero/ the Hero series and maybe some of those bizarre PS2 ones? Because if you haven't been playing the JP games, you are missing out on a lot.

i think rayark is from taiwan but their games still have a few anime style illustrations
