My final exam will end today. Yeah!! Come on!!! WHOOOOO!!!!! My spring vacation is coming...! I want to upload clips everyday!!! So let’s have fan on Nijisanji together!!!!! FOOOOOOOOOO!!! (I’ll do my best with exam...)
He may be most socially awkward male in Nijisanji. When together with his friends he's noisy, but when collabing with others he's very quiet. In a MK collab last month he played with 9 people. The only time he talked on stream was when Kanae mentions him so other people would notice him. It's really unusual since he's one of the most subbed and one of the highest number of active viewers. He's male Ars that uses his roleplay and Chuuni-jokes, is awkward with other people but comfortable with friends and viewers.
She's so easy-going I don't think she really cares if people say she's fat lol. One of the only vtubers who put their weight in RFA with zero hesitation. It's fine tho, knowing Japan she's probably still fairly slim. Just a bit more thicc than the avg girl there 😍😍😍
@@audiencefromspace nijisanji really is a slice of life sitcom. Some are shounen/action manga when they're playing video games but truly they are wholesome anime tropes at heart.
To be honest, she clearly understood exactly what was happening. The way she talked was clearly intentionally obtuse. Remember, they have an audience. It is incredibly natural to feel like you should play these situations up for the audience. They are technically playing "characters' after all.
laskann I wouldn’t be so sure. Japanese language is heavily based on context and discussions can go on and on without specifying the subject of any sentence. She might have thought that it was obvious enough that she was talking about her pet, and to be honest, their reaction, although a bit over the top for what she was talking about, may not seem too strange for an airhead such as Hima. Could still be a bit played up but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s not the case at all.
Love how Himawari is just thinking these guys are weird for asking who the father of these cats is. And just acknowledging she got fat super casually, even though to her it was un-related.
Well this type of thinking is similar to some one with asbergers so i assume shes joking but its very common for people with asd to not see ties between certain things
I think the dense ones here are Yashiro and Kuzuha, bc how in the world could a person give birth at "4 o'clock yesterday" and be doing a livestream playing video games the next day like nothing happened 😂😂
Yashikizu frequently quotes or references things from otaku contents. So I think he did it intentionally. Honnhima actually tried to test Yashikizu's knowledge while playing APEX with him and Bel chann, and he realized most of them. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EBq_JUunPEs.html It's not translated but it is edited well, showing picture of the contents.
As someone who works with a person that breeds puppies but only ever overhears them talking about it from a distance, yes. That is exactly how those conversations tend to go, and I’m glad I recognized it. On the other hand, do safe birth charms work like that?
She has to be aware. No one goes on and on without revealing key details. You wouldn't say that you had 3 babies born yesterday to describe such a situation.
@@justsomeone5314 the japanese language is like that though it, mostly relies heavily on context and a conversation can last a long time without mentioning the subject at hand so for himawari's side it could be that she thought that with the stuff she talked about its enough to piece together that she was talking about a cat and not herself though we can't know for sure really
Yes, that is kind of my mindset. "I think it's pretty sure they remember that part and that part like I do. And they will know exactly what I have talked about!" They don't.
@@justsomeone5314 she said she had 3 babies at the beginning because she was caught up with talking about her cat,and she assumed they too knew and was on the same page what was going on in her mind (which was her cat) The reason the entire misunderstanding lasted so long was she genuinely thought they were talking about her cat even when they said they didn't know about the pregnancy, she assumed they were referring to her cat,but in actuality they thought..... Of course, there are weird things going on the conversation but the human mind has the powerful ability to bend it to fit our internal narrative, because we have no ability to read others minds, what other parties are thinking of could be totally wrong and unrelated and off on another tangent, that's why if ever there's an opportunity to confess ur love for someone do it. Just like the game of poker,us humans are actually more stupider and blind than we give ourselves credit for
@@justsomeone5314 its been 9 months already but i think she is kinda aware? the way she talks is describing someone else and not herself. also, its japanese and japanese language is kinda confusing even for them so we dont really know hahaha.
Kuzuha: Is that why you gain weight? Seconds later Hima said: Its is my cat. Kuzuha: Desho? ... ... Meanwhile in Kuzuha's mind space chaoes is happening. *.....you just said she gain weight!!! Everyone listen, lets get the Halloween deck. Kuzuha: "By the way Halloween..."
Note that why they told Hima stupid when they ask whose, because Hima answer it in a way that it could also mean "I wonder whose child is this" implying she didn't know the father.
Everytime Kuzu speaks in a surprised voice I look at his picture and it just fits the conversation so much, I forget it's just a still image. Also.... The short pause when they realized she was talking about her newborn kittens and they already blurted out so many things, including... *pulls you in to whisper* _including her weight..._
Honestly, carrying out 8 hours of work while pregnant for 9 months and then being back on the job with less than 24 hours of maternity leave sounds like the most Vtuber thing ever.
Of all the clips of this exchange this one is my favorite because it’s from Hima’s pov. You can tell she immediately gets what’s happening by her facial expressions, but she plays it up for maximum content. Such a pro. 🌻
ngl the first time i was as confused as kuzuha and yashiro, the second time i watched it i totally understood WHY it was so confusing. Legit every sentence from Hima makes sense WHEN YOU KNOW THE TALK IS ABOUT HER CAT-
Is this yesterday stream? Or somehow i missed this one. But when Hima said "Whose?" The reaction of those two funny in which i laugh so hard!!. Indeed Himawari is precious gem
I was in disbelief until the very end! Is this the fault of the Japanese language? No way! Surely this has to be some sort of misunderstanding, right? What a hilarious clip, thank you for sharing and translating!
kind of. in english sentence structure, in the very least you have a subject and a verb. example: I had a child (in this, child would be the direct object that the verb is acting on, "I" the subject, "had" the verb). in japanese, the subject is implied and the bare minimum for sentence structure is a topic and a verb. example: ___ had a child, or to make it sound better, "A child was had" while in english, you can have those type of structures (ie "a child was born") which can leave an ambiguous "who does the child belong to" question, it occurs less often since on a daily usage, most english users use direct subject acting on a direct object. in comparison, *in japanese since subject is more often implied* , you'll more often get situations where you'll know what actions are taking place but not know who is doing that action. you kind of just assume by context, if the person talking doesn't provide a subject, they're either talking about themselves or you
@@Oniikami Yeah, I think you can kind of see this happen with the part about getting fat. Who they're talking about is ambiguous until Hima says "you're talking about me, right? yeah, I got fat" just funny how that's the part she decided to clarify the subject for.
Man, if this wasn't staged, Hima was probably thinking those two were playing some high-level skit that she didn't understand. And chances are, they were probably thinking the same thing.
It sounds staged as hell, but it's not even Himawari's fault, because she really killed her part 🤣 Kuzuha and Yashiro don't feel as natural. I still laughed at all three of them
