So Yohioloid told scandalous lies and Oliver told dramatic truths? I must figure this out...

Maybe it's just me, but I get the impression that the town itself was also lying because they didn't want to accept the truth.

The creepy thing is that one of Oliver's tales was actually truth... Still, in this story none of the townpeople believed him - instead they hung him up because he'd made them cry which they didn't want to. In other words, this town feigned ignorance to the hideous truth, the miserable fates of the others to keep themselves happy - whatever the price was.

Moral of the story: *Stop letting shady blond boys into the bar.*

Okay so here's my theory: Yohio is a young man who liked to make up stories and spread false rumors about people. Maybe a few details about them were true, as stated by the lyrics "he saw the truth beneath the lie". Either, way he was still a liar, or as the song calls him, a tattler. Oliver is a young boy, who like Yohio, is also a liar. He likes to either make up stories or tell heavily dramatized versions of real events that took place. It takes a liar to know a liar, and Oliver saw through Yohioloid's charming facade. He humiliated him and the two became enemies determined to rat each other out. Evuntually, their attempts go too far and they are executed by the town, who discover the natures of their stories.

Sooo two minors walked into a bar, called everyone else out in their lies, and were butchered and hanged for it? Sounds legit.

I started cracking up with the James Puppet's reaction to La Llorona "she did?! :0" All those references were brilliant. I only got two of them but still, brilliant.

Is no one going to talk about the fact that at 4:26 when the townspeople come to get Oliver and yohioloid, Oliver was smiling at them and yohioloid actually showing slight fear and confusion ? He was all smiles and talk but he was truly scared and confused as to why the townspeople came to him with weapons and Oliver didn't let his smile falter at all. If you look closely at 4:27 he is smiling up at them. Why has no one even mentioned this yet?? It took me like five repeats to actually notice that Oliver smiled at them before they killed him and yohioloid smile was completely gone from his face unlike in the beginning of the song.

I'm thinking that the townspeople were the ones lying? What if the two guys were telling the truth and they just won't accept those facts because, y'know, they're hurt lmao

I'm pretty sure 1:25 is a jab at Big Al and I love it.

Ok but I don’t see enough appreciation for the tuning and mixing for Oliver’s little bird puppet voice at around 3:03 Bc oh my gosh it literally sounds like he’s doing a funny voice w his mouth moving a specific way

As I view this song then both the men were all exposing the truth. The town was already well-known for their perfectness (yet corrupted inside). But after the duo's exposure, the townsfolks got angry and they hung the duo with glee. And the truth are labeled as ''stories'' and left rotten in the darkness. The duo were labeled as tattlers and became a theme of ridicule for their ''lies'' afterwards.

Okay so here’s my theory as to how this song fits in with the kaleidoscope haze series, I believe that Oliver and Yohioloid symbolize the people not on drugs and the town symbolizes the people who were (because in the town in the final frames we see the elephant toy from the first song in the series so that’s what led me to believe that) and this song is from the mind of the drug users not wanting to accept the truth that the world was telling them that what their drug abuse is bad so the drug users cut those people out of their lives so they could “be happy” and do what they want. (Like when the tattlers were lynched) In you have anything to add I’d love to hear it!

Oh my god, the instrumental... It's so catchy despite the simple beat. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG. I HEARD THE TEASER AND I WAS SO HAPPY THAT YOU GUYS WERE MAKING A SONG WITH OLIVER. Oliver and YOHIOloid are my two fav VOCALOIDs, so yeah. This is just great. I love how Oliver sounds in the chorus. The storyline and concept here is great. Both Oliver and Hio sound incredibly clear. I'm in such awe. The references to your other songs take the cake. I just, aaah- I love you guys so much. You make my days.

In case any of you are wondering war says kaleidoscope haze was in the same universe and was made by the same person. Twaddles of a flue faker and secrets of wysteria both have leading theories that they're about true stories. la llorna is stated in this song to not to be based on the myth with mimicry and war justifying how it would be consistent since it makes both feature resurrection.

You don't even know how MUCH I'm obsessed with this song right now! It fascinated me since the first time I've heard it a few days ago and now it has become one of my all time favorite Vocaloid songs. The way it's written, the constant feel of creepiness, the story and the drawings all fuse into something that is incredible, I just love this video so much. I think I know the story, so, the people who were singing the song, they had been telling bad stories, so like when Oliver said the stories about Secrets of Wysteria, La Lorona, twaddles of the blue faker, and the final one Kaleidoscope haze, and so the other people had enough, (or getting tired of it) so they tied those two on a rope. ( it's on 5:11) So yeah the lesson learned is that pls do not ever tell creepy stories then otherwise people would not trust you Thx if you read the whole entire thing.
