Family Extortion is a horrible thing to do. It would be time to sue for defamation. The video was very cool

With parents like these, who needs enemies?? I would much rather be born an orphan than to parents like these.

I have experienced the good and bad in family business dealings. The best route is to keep family out and away. The way to help is by your terms and not theirs.

I doubt that any judge would let sides to talk so freely between each other like here

Thing is, they had chances. Plenty. Every day, they could have chosen to do better. When they turned up at their son’s graduation, they could have chosen to apologize for their behavior. So, they’ve had a second chance. Even more. I do believe everyone deserves a second chance to be better. However, it also depends on how that second chance is looked at. If, for instance, my partner was cheating on me, they’d have one other chance to be better and to make it up. Sometimes, a good relationship needs mistakes like that. However, if someone was behaving this toxic to me, then they are using chances every time they behave like that.

You could do. But they might do it again and again.

They were only looking out for their own self to benefit them without working for it.

I believe in forgiveness, but the remorse must be genuine. As the old saying goes: “Fool me once shame on you. Fool me again shame on me.” Second chances are fine… but after that step away.

Oh please they don't deserve any money people need to understand especially parents if you can't be there and support them in their time of need you don't deserve to be there when they succeed in their goal or goals.

Your question at the ended is a loaded one. Forgiveness & 2nd chances - yes to some people and no to others. It depends on the offense and how genuine the apology given is. Sometimes things are just to deep for a 2nd chance.

100% AGREED!!! The pain and betrayal is to much to even think about a second chance. Some people don’t deserve the first opportunity, it’s a shame when it’s family.

They didn't want a partnership, they just wanted the money.

Should people be given a second chance? What constitutes "a second chance"? A second chance could be... some time has passed, call and apologize. Don't do it? Hmmm... Waited until they were successful? Hmm...

I am truly aware of how toxic families can be. my life was in danger, and I was negatively labled in religion, and by community, I left home at 18 , I have been happier on my own.

Sounds like the parents wanted a spoiled child that would defame them with partying and publications in tabloid papers and social media instead of a nerd who was a good kid

The first red flag is the fact that in these videos, the children mostly refer to their parents by their first names, instead of Dad and Mom.

He ran away from home on his 18th birthday. Was he still a minor there? How do you repair a burned bridge? His father said 30% of the business. I suspect that he meant 30% for him and 30% for the mother. Impossible when there are stockholders.

Certain countries count that as turning adult. Malaysia followed suit during one of the last General Elections!!

I am going to say this if your parents have not been in your life for years you don't let them in because they are coming with baggage..All they wanted was your money to live the good life. Over the years what did they do with there money and in the end you owe them nothing..🌍👍🌍🍀🌍🙏🌍😘🌍💯🌍🎉🌍
