I can confidently say that the growth curve in PGR is real, I went from being unable to dodge the little spider bombs that Nuzzle summons when it is low HP and getting one shooted to actually understanding that Lilith was NOT an easy boss xD When I first saw Lilith through the YT filter, I thought she wasn't that bad, now that I can finally fight her I actually when to destroy her with the amount of rage she induces on me. She is at the top 2 on my hardest bosses with Unknown Data Cluster/Red Lady being top 1, I just can't do that fight properly, I just can't.

Dude remember that time when a guy making a dumb comment something like it's impossible to get 100 score in babel tower while being an f2p, and Rex legit be like: Bruh here's how i do it with units WORSE than f2p, GIT GUD lmao. And he deleted the comment right after that iirc lol.

6:55 another indicator for the umbrella throw that i noticed when fighting against her is when she tosses it upwards and basically hit it like a baseball

Crimson Weave Alpha may be the strongest unit in the game, but she's also one of the most technical. It doesn't matter if you have her in SSS+. You won't be on the top of the leaderboards if you can't rotate and optimize her damage output. She needs brains and motivation to play decently, which the guy doesn't have to begin with.

Some people seem to forget that this isn't Genshin, it's a technical skill based game first and not a numbers and build game, approach it like Devil May Cry or dark souls and learn through trial and error. I think we all can agree that if u can't do that then that's a YOU problem. Like he said, practice and get good, it's actually more fun that way.

That aside, I learned two things in this video: The upside-down card thing and her parry-able attacks flash a different color than usual. EDIT: In the course of making my own stupid video doing this as Sophia, I also learned something about the roulette-spin she does: hitting a specific number (27 I think?) will actually heavily stagger her. Just have to be careful since sometimes she goes right into the fake-out pose afterward.

In PGR, whaling can only take you so far. If you suck, then you suck. Plain and simple. I like playing Crimson Weave because it forces me to actually consider my moves. If you unga bunga with her, you're gonna get cornered real fast. It's pretty satisfying.

actually watched the whole thing cos I looove how precise your narration is, you're clearly very good at the game and there's no shame in being good at what you love to do! but part of me wonders if you'd actually make this video if someone like that didn't make such a weird comment. Maybe these kinds of guide videos aren't fun to do or don't make that much views, which is tragic. I was definitely hoping for a Projection/Alisa boss guide video from you, but eh, I learned them just fine on my own.

First off big thank you for making this video! As a person who recently came back just for this update, I looked online for this information and was surprised to see no one making videos about it. I was sort of on board with the first person until the convo devolved into just pettiness. I only had Lucia crimson abyss and I managed to grind for 2 weeks to get crimson weave and with all these 6* and 5* selectors I’m getting my account is looking really good. Yes, I understand this game has a niche community and if you’re not really into PGR, you’re probably not watching PGR content but I’d love to learn, even fundamentals and things that are just obvious to veterans. Prior to this video I was just beating this content by brute force not understanding why she kept hugging me with her hips or how to counter it, demolishing me with her umbrella hit which idk the parry timing for that either (seems difficult) and what card to even hit when she disappears. I also don’t know how Perry mechanics work in this game so I always dodged that one air attack. I managed to get all stars just by using the trial characters because their stats are way better than my characters and abusing healing QTEs. Thanks again!

Bonus tip: Even if the umbrella sticks you, attack button appears on screen. Git gud time it well and she will be parried off.

Rexlent, I know you made this video half as a sort of thing to just humble a guy, but i actually found it very useful! I would appreciate it a lot if we could have guides on other bosses too!

Good guide Rex. A good mindset too: There will always be someone stronger or a higher mountain as you said bro. The only way to get better or become a skill player in PGR is through practice. Spend hours fighting bosses, learning their combos, and countering each one.

Oh yes, this definitely helps a lot. I've been trying to beat her these past couple of days and failed. Can't seem to figure out how to avoid triggering her gimmick where she trap you and the headlock one. But after watching this video I beat her first try. Once you know how she work it's easy to beat her. I've been struggling before even having a full squad but now I just use her as target practice with CW to get better at her. She's definitely a fun boss to fight. Thanks Rexlent for the guide

Impressive as always and love most creators who make their fights feel cinematic. Can't really imagine money getting you to that level of skill. Maybe the people who complain just never practice the mechanics of the game. I know I'm kinda lazy in that department, in fact, I tend to forget all characters can parry. Personally I hardly approach fights with enough patience to learn the move sets and just button mash to beat the clock. Good luck, even if you don't need it.

I see.... I spend some time at that one challenge stage to get wrecked by her to learn her move set (the highest difficulty one). I spend quite a lot of retry but I finally did it. The one and only problem is that spinning cards (I don't even notice some of them upside down lol) yet Rexlent already cracked it for me. Thanks lord, you dropped this 👑. Now, Lilith. Time to get pawned for real ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ Edit : Finally I did it without anyone dying. With my CW without the signature weapon (I use the 5* one. Out of cards to use. Would love it if more guides like this existed. Took me many attempts and I never figured out how to dodge the thigh attack or what even triggers it. And I could only dodge the throw attack with 50/50 consistency cause I didn't know her laughing was a cue for it so I could only react to her throwing which happens so fast (10:44 respect). Also didn't know that there was an upside down card, I was just hitting any and immediately pressing dodge :D

I got my skill issue on CW, however when i unlocked her, her weapon and Cub, i started practicing her without any manual guide, after that i started playing her. Hard at first but once you know the skill and her potential, she is really fun to play(1.5 yrs playing pgr).

Even if you failed to dodge the umbrella spear throw, you have 1 chance to press the basic attack to parry Lilith back right before she is about to hyperdash to hit you.

Love the guides! You should do them more often, with my gen 2 characters i breeze trough everything so fast that i cant even tell the game still has complexity to it so its cool to see. Unrelated but they should add an option to nerf your own characters, i prefer gen 2 for the animations but they can be too overpowered even at s or ss

honestly the only thing that I had a hard time with lilith is her "hiding behind a card and guess which card she's hiding" move, that was kinda annoying so I really appreciate this guide lol

you can also parry the umbrella throw. just let the umbrella hit you(no damage) and when she s about to rush you,, you can parry that(just need a perfect timinng and get good)
