these marvelous girls performing to a crowd of "professionals" are the true professionals for keeping up such energy in the face of a crowd of such stiffs. so different from the american shows. thanks for your focus on Dosie, she is the definition of awesome sauce............
after reviewing the comments below, i have reconsidered my view of the crowd response to this performance and i apologize if i have offended in any way. i failed to account for culture. yet, i myself, was a public performer for many many years and know how difficult it is to provide a high energy performance to a silent crowd.
I can't help but notice a huge difference between how the Japanese fans react and how the North American fans react. This is in no way a criticizm but I'm curious if the , what I perceive to be, lack of enthusiasm is a cultural thing or perhaps it is because they get exposed to many more K-Pop acts and so the lack of enthusiasm is more due to boredom.. Not boredom with PK as such but boredom with K-Pop in general. They are so talented and so lovely and fun and engaging it is hard not to stomp and yell and sing along with them but maybe that's not the Japanese way. Please excuse my ignorance on the matter. I would be very interested to be educated about this. I guess in my ignorance I wouldn't have expected those same rules to be evident in such a setting. I really must be more culturally aware.
