@@kausthita11 we all make mistakes but from our mistakes we learn. If you feel like coward think ways to change that and take baby steps! Also be kind to yourself
"A radius of 85cm is the distance my voice can reach Someday, when I get worn out from singing At that time please be my side" MADE MY HEART DROP (T^T)
In general, I think it's supposed apply to many different hobbies and jobs.. like singing, or cooking with that one cat with a frying pan MV, The original song just has... spinning For some reason
Give it twenty years, we'll have a real Luka. All we need is a high bit count quantum computer for AI, some code, and a functional android. And three million people working on it at once. But don't worry. Next up, functional TARDIS!
This song is actually one of the most inspiring songs for me. I mean, I feel the same like Luka about drawing. My friends draw better than me, which made me want to give up in drawing, that is...after I found out about this song. Ever since I first listened to this, I started to practice harder and now, I'm starting to have confidence in drawing. :D /forgive me for the bad English orz
let's if i get this right 'bout the song: luka wanted to make a singer but continue failing and failing but didn't give up she saw that her friends had already become singers so then she continue pushin' foward until she became a singer???
Luka is my absolute favourite Vocaloid! :3 I love this song, it's so inspirational and motivational, and I think the adapted lyrics make more sense than the original! Well done Luka!
This song makes me really emotional because it reminds me of what I used to be like, never feeling good enough compared to my friends and beating myself up for it. But it makes me happy now I've moved on from that :)
I still can't believe people are still complaining that the subs are inaccurate... because IVE ADAPTED THE TRANSLATION TO MATCH THE PV. = ITS NOT ACCURATE.
I like them too. I like the songs (and translation) because the words are great messages; and I don't know Japanese ,yet, so i don't focus on the words when i listen to the songs at night. So, i can sleep easily rather than staying up till 2.
Well...you have some mistakes. In the beginning: 半径85センチがこの手の届く距。 An 85 cm radius is as far as my HANDS can reach. 手 = Hand 声 = Voice, Sound etc. You've replaced all Hands with Voices. ただ回る事が楽しかった・・・ I enjoyed to SPIN that much... 回る = Spin 歌う = Sing You've replaced all Spin verbs with Sing verb. Just some word mistakes. Otherwise it's great. [Sorry about my bad English...]
I know that. But you have correct Japanese lyrics and incorrect English lyrics...that doesn't make any sense. -_- I actually care about it that much. Just pointed out.
Hi Luka-san, I want to thank you because this song has inspired me to ignore the people who say i was terrible, now i can sing just like you, Kaito, and other vocaloids. Thank you so much, AND NEVER GIVE UP YOUR SINGING JOB, I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH!!! *hugs*
BassDrop! No doubt, Luka is awesome, but you guys are mentioning only her mainstream songs that Sega and Crypton have selectively exposed to the public. If her mainstream songs (💖💖💖) equal Earth's radius; then Luka's other songs (💝💝💝💝💝💝), that Miku's promoters are stashing away in the dark, equal the radius of our solar system. So, to show you what I'm saying, click on my icon and listen to Luka's "(AWESOMENESS)... playlist. ¡¡¡ NOW BE AMAZED !!! Theeese are "Hatsune's Secret"; the songs that Miku doesn't want you to hear!!! She lives in fear of them 😎😎😎
Ironically it's the opposite for me xD No matter how I feel, this reminds me that I couldn't achieve greatness and be as good as everyone around me. I guess people see things differently. Heh...
This song and vid isn't too far off from reality. The vocaloid fan base has given Luka a role of an older sister to Miku, the Kagamine's and even Kaito and Meiko (even though productwise Meiko and Kaito are first generation). Her popularity, in comparison to her assumed role, is kinda in this manor of everyone under her has become more popular than her before she ever did.
I love this song, what it means to me is keep trying things no matter how hard or discouraged you get. because if you keep trying, you get better, and then you look back and you are glad you kept trying
God this makes me cry every dang time. but, in a good way... I've always wanted to be an actor, a singer, or an artist... something no-one believes is realistic. To see Luka standing before a billboard with her very picture on it, seeing that she finally made it, and all the effort was worth it... It gives me hope. I don't want to be a carpenter I don't want to be a plumber I don't want to be a construction worker I want to be an artist. In the sense that Im doing something creative, and I don't dread my whole existence every single time my alarm goes off. Even if I die before I make it, I'll be spending those days with the desire, love, determination, admiration, and outright instanity to continue on anyway. I can't not regret making it if I'm dead. I Love This Song.
@@444ein ehh... Guess it depends I'm not an artist, not yet. Mostly due to... Well, it's a long story. Undiagnosed neurodivergence, constant threat of eviction, employers never responding to me... Oh well
for some reason I feel this song is beautifully sad. I cried during it. She'll never give up on her dream to sing better than yesterday, and then show the world. It's like me, I just don't know when to give up on something, I just want to finish it.
This in my opinion what Luka is trying to say is that she can't sing at the level of her friends, she knows she can do well but doesn't get the much of attention like Miku,Rin and the others.
I think the real lyrics is talking about the earth with the other vocaloids being the other planets. Because her head is at the angle of which earth is and at the end she spins the same amount earth does in one day
It's been 13 years, this song still makes me shed tears, struggles, optimism, and everything about Luka, for some reason this song is like the happy ending of an anime
correction: YOU don't read the description, why would someone put so much effort into putting something like 'the right lyrics are in the description' on the video, when they could just put the right lyrics exactly on the video.
Even as child I interpretted this song pretty different from most. The ending seems bittersweet in that, her drive to attain her goal made her lose sight of the people around her. In the end, all she had were memories of the people she surpassed until either an imagining or sudden resolution where she returns to her original state, but with her friends around nonetheless. Or, I'm retard.
Despite the lyrics showed us were not the real lyrics but I like this kind of interpretation a lot, it's cute but made me crying inside...it's really beautiful!
This is just a very meaningful song. The first time i read the subtitles, this was a while back when i was still new to vocaloid, i didn't understand what the song was about, but i sat there and just read the words, and it is basically about how she over came her sorrow and became what she wanted to be, and when she get's sick of singing she just wants someone with her.
My classmates: that girl is so weird why is she always mumbling to herself? Me: *very quietly signing vocaliod, because I can't sing well (also like what luka thinks in the song) so I should just be quiet..*
@otaku0219 The numbers basically mean the order which the voice packs for Vocaloid 2 debuted pretty much. Miku was the first, Len/Rin were the 2nd, Luka was the 3rd.
@Rachelsama44 The song is about the Earth forming. thats why the real lyrics have her arm span keep getting bigger and other refrences to the tilt of the Earths axis
@Orinaki luka is talking about how good she sings and all that. First, it reaches a small portion of the world and starts to touch the hearts of the whole world. Then she is singing about how people were starting to notice her and she was becoming more popular.
If you look on nicovideo, there are a set of "adapted" subtitles in green under the video that are sung with the beat of the song, but are adapted to match this pv.
Try reading the Vocaloid wiki for this song if you are confused, but spin and sing are two interpretations of the song itself, although whether its spinning or singing, the general idea or meaning of the song doesn't change. c:
@ShinkuSuiseiseki i think that Luka is supposed to represent the planet Earth in this song. she says her head is tilted 23.4 degrees, which is the axial tilt of the Earth. and 6300 kilometers is the radius of the Earth as well. taking all of that into account, spinning kinda makes sense as well.
People have probably already answered this, but the actual lyrics say spin, and the song is based around spinning. But it's most likely a play on words, where she's actually talking about singing, as shown by the chorus.
In another video it said "So please stay away from me". I figured it meant that, but "at 85cm radius is the length these arms can reach I'll show you now so please step back " makes much more sense.
