🔧 Project Overview
We are developing a manufacturing study for BtoC, utilizing our skills and knowledge in BtoB development projects. In this video, we will show you the process of remaking hard-to-find auto parts, repairing broken parts, and creating one-off custom parts.
🚗 The challenge in this project
3D scanning of deteriorated original parts and precision modification using CAD. Using this data, we challenged ourselves to fabricate the parts by 3D printing.
🛠️ Making Process
1) Digitalization of original parts by 3D scanning
2) Shape modification and optimization using CAD
(3) Creation of plate thickness and data of reinforcing ribs for 3D printing
④Dividing the data into 4 parts to fit into the work size
⑤Output 3D printing
⑥Assemble
⑦Confirm data accuracy by 3D scanning again
8) Stretch the surface skin
