【Review】SmallRig AP-100 FreeRover カーボンファイバー三脚 ／ 軽量でありながら頑丈、そして操作性抜群な数々の工夫の盛り込まれたトラベル三脚 

Hi. Very nice review. I have this tripod and it is fantastic. Yes, the length could be shorter, today there are a lot of tripods around 40cm and some 49cm, but this is a 4-piece tripod and thus has significantly higher strength than 5-piece tripods. The ball head has limited movement if you want to rotate the camera to a vertical position - but I don't mind this, I have the L Plate from SmallRig for my Canon R8 - it has the other great feature of extending the grip for the little finger. With this, the head is fully usable for all positions. (but it must be pointed out) even so, I like the head better than the classic ball head. Enables mounting of accessories. The legs are extra strong - 15kg is fantastic, but mainly zero play in the joints - a better solution than clips. The quick unfold and fold feature with just one turn of the lock is fantastic - I don't understand why someone hasn't done this before, I don't want another tripod without this feature! The integrated tips are a nice bonus. The price is ridiculous, my dealer delivered it for $140 - Peak Design, which is significantly worse (mainly poor stability), costs $650 here - yes, it is shorter when folded (the diameter is narrower for the SmallRig) but it is significantly less strong and lasts a very long time assemble - it is unusable with the center post, you cannot attach a load hook to the head after removing the center post - you can with the SmallRig and the center post is usable here. For me, the quality of the design is higher with SmallRig - the clip locks with Peak Design do not look high-quality and other details are also not at the level of its price. Gitzo or Manfrotto tripods are nice, but at significantly different prices (the price is not a problem for me), but their diameter when folded is too bulky - I don't understand why they still haven't made a really compact tripod with the legs together. As the only qualitative and functional competition to this SmallRig, I see the new tripod from Falcam, which looks smart, has a better head with a panorama function, the legs are strong, but it does not have the function of one-lock assembly. SmallRig now states that there will also be a video head assembly - I'm very curious - it would be great if they made the head post as a separate product.

この雲台は試してみたいけど、専用なんですね。 脚は、一度全部伸ばさないと長さ調整できない仕様ですか？1段目だけあるいは、1段目と2段目だけ伸ばすとかは、できますか？縮長が50センチ近いのは、自分の運用ではNGなのですが、雲台はいいなあ。
