I know I said it during the premiere and afterwards on the donothon but seriously, despite knowing how much power your voice can hold it still blows me away when you show off all the different facets of just HOW powerful you can get. The control in your voice is crazy, going from softer tones in the beginning and in the middle to something more withheld that you know is just the bubbling of the anguish to come, to the full belts that come in the choruses. Knowing the meaning behind the song, your performance perfectly encapsulates the meaning and feeling behind it all. The sadness, conflict, and utter heartbreak, the sureness that the person you represent in the song is going to be alone as long as they live because being treated right in this relationship in the song feels so wrong after so much mistreatment, all of this in your voice in this cover is so authentic sounding that it hurts my heart. You did absolutely amazing here, Shiki. You matched the feeling that comes with a Kikuo song and onwards and it shows just how talented of a singer you are. I really hope in the future that maybe Sony will let you do an official song with Kikuo because your voice with their songs is a match made in heaven!

WOW, it's not like I haven't heard Shiki sing, but the sheer vocal range she traveled across the whole song is CRAZY. We think this is incredible, but for Shiki, it was a Tuesday. Seriously tho, it's wild to see so much singing technique all together in one song, not just power, but delicate nuance. Shiki didn't just cover the song, she recreated it with the unmistakable OP pupper signature. We are blessed to live in this timeline with such talent. Also, can't forget that the production value is insane, great job by the whole team. Thank you Shiki-shake!
