Thank you for sharing this video five years ago. Sadly, the red entrance side fortress and the entire traditional building shown behind the entrance have been demolished, replaced by an unappealing open space for a restaurant and a mini-exhibition hall. Other key elements and structures have also been removed. I’m heartbroken by the redevelopment of the Chinese and Japanese Gardens, which now lack their former uniqueness and look just like Jurong Park and other parks in Singapore. The cultural heritage and character that once set these gardens apart have been lost in the process. 😭😭😭 10 September 2024
