Their robot and alt modes may not be the most elegant nor the most elaborate. But they are freaking HUGE, and the combined Devastator is truly awe inspiring.
The subgroup consists of: mining and salvage operative, Scavenger, an excavator desperate to prove his worth, concrete cement truck, Mixmaster, a cackling chemist responsible for fabricating building materials, the bitter Long Haul, a dump truck who’d rather be fighting than transporting cargo, bulldozer, Bonecrusher, a violent demolitions expert, surgical mechanic, Hook, a snobbish perfectionist mobile crane, and front loader, Scrapper, the team leader of the Constructicons who loved to create structures using the bodies of his fallen enemies.
Things that i admired about this version of Devastator: - All Constructicons have their individual weapons (all of them are accurate to G1 models as well). Meanwhile, CW Devastator only makes use of combiner's bits. - Has optional eyes (Visor or Normal Eyes). Meanwhile the 1st CW Devastator only have visor face & 2nd one (aka ver. San Diego Comic-Con 2015) only has normal eyes. - Improved joints for each Constructicons. Probably the biggest value of the 3 as the CW versions are kind lame for a Generation-update of an iconic combiner team.
@@deddasna well. Not really. CW Constructicons or UW Buildrons are supposed to be modernized versions of G1. Change without making them so alienated to their former self. Long Haul's truck mode in real life is very very huge. Not to mention, he is the transport guy of the team so that design is good. And about Bayverse version. Bayverse Long Haul has his front to be legs of his robot mode while CW/UW version is just like G1: His front becomes his torso.
I had those as a kid. LOVED THEM! Wish I had a few still in the box. Worth alot now. I had about 15 or 20 including the constructicons. Gosh this makes me miss them
@@factcheck5017 i used to as a kid. Itbwas great! I had optimus prime and soundwave and few others I dont remember. Starscream maybe. Awesome genre man!👍❤️
Can we just appreciate the fact that dispite so much content for this video, they kept it well below the 10min mark, while there are many content creators out there stretching their videos to the golden 10min mark for the RU-vid algorithm
@@Hakuru15 yep, for some reason YT has an algorithm that favours video's that are 10min long. If you post video's that are less than that it affects your channels reach and stuff. Thats why you'll see 99% content creators stretching their videos to that 10min mark. It sucks but we can't blame the creators who work YT full time. YT really needs to rethink about their policies and stuff.
@@cosmiclyrics2307 i uploaded a minecraft video of more than an hour in my principal account this is my grandma's account and i did of an hour because i dont notice the time when i play because minecraft entertained me too much and continues entertaining me too much and that's why its about an hour my video
Decepticon purple neon green 80's nostalgia hit with perfect G1 transformation. If we saw this back in the 80's I think we could have begged our parents every hour.
You have mixmaster's vehicle backwards. This one is a more modern cement truck with the drum over the cab. The only reason there's faux cab detail on the back (which becomes dev's foot) is to make the combiner look accurate.
es mi sueño tener mi DEVASTADOR y todos los CONSTRONTICONS una coleccion SIMPLEMENTE GENIAL soy fan de TRANSFORMERS GENERACION 1 los AUTENTICOS LOS ORIGINALES
Not a bad figure but I have seen some far better versions of the Constructicons figures. And that’s why I love seeing these videos because they keep evolving the craft of making these figures since the humble days when these toys were simple.
Long Haul (dump truck), Mixmaster (cement mixer), Bonecrusher (bulldozer), Scavenger (excavator), Scrapper (front loader) and Hook (crane) they all combined as Devastator, I never understand why they became Decepticons if they aren´t weapon type as all the others; amazing model one in its kind, a real masterpiece!!!
Como siempre, una excelente review de la transformación y combinación de este gestalt. Independientemente de la forma de pensamiento y apoyo a la línea (oficial o 3p) es de reconocer que es bastante interesante la forma y la ingeniería aplicada. Felicitaciones!
You had mixmaster backwards in vehicle mode. The part facing forward is actually where the engine is. The cement mixer it’s modeled after is called a front facing cement mixer.
I agree on this solely based on the combiners, but overall I personally prefer the autobots (aside from combiners) predaking, menasor, bruticus and devastator are amazing.
Lorewise, Decepticon do _actively_ looking for better form and power, and many of them had specialized weapons/ power. Autobots is not as gung-ho as Decepticon, and hiding in plain sight o earth as civilian vehicles is much, much easier. So they _did_ tend to looking for inscopicious vehicle form to transform.
Interesting to see the differences between the Unite Warriors revision and the original Combiner Wars figure. I have preordered the re-release of the US version that hopefully will be shipping on the 18th.
They mostly look good. (Longhaul and Mixmaster are a bit rough.) There's a bit of hollowness here and there, but mostly G1 accurate. The combined mode looks nice too. A good budget alternative to Toyworld Constructor.
I like that Toyworld constructor set looks exactly like the g1 80s cartoon series.Especially the combiner mode. But you're right this set looks really good as well.
Спасибо за приятные воспоминания, обожаю этих ребят :) Из России с любовью, Отличное видео!!! Thanks a lot for nostalgia, i love this guys :) From Russia with Love, Great video!!!
Just imagine thses guys in the Michael Bay move. Actor 1: man only if we could tell the difference between the robots from regular dig site vehicles Actor 2: well something tells me that big, blocky, green and purple vehicles that have weapons on the back or straped on the side aren't regular vehicles Decepticons: *THEY FOUND OUT! RUN!!!*
This might be the Takara Unite Warriors version that have their own weapons and also has added articulation on the arms of some of the bots. There is also perfect effect upgrade that has weapons and arm upgrades to give american constucticons more articulation.
i don't mean to nitpick but that's not Mixmaster's front in vehicle mode. His mixer mode for this toy is a front-load mixer. The rear of his mixer mode was painted like that to evoke the screen accurate for Devastator. As original Devastator toy has Mixmaster's front being his feet. Shout out to Mr Baltmatrix for pointing that out. Just google and you see front-load mixer in real-life. Actually, if you paid attention, you could point that out too without knowing the term front-load mixer. as the front of a truck is supposed to only have 1 pair of wheels while the rear tends to have 2 or even 3 pair of wheels. I'm not expert about vehicle but I know that via common sense. Either way, Good video.
Devastator G1 Is My Favorite Mixed Decepticon Because Devastator Is Obedient To Megatron And Very Strong I Feel Devastator Is The Combined King🦾👑 I'm On Your Side Decepticon 😈
Okay so I just realised, how did the G1 Constructicons no draw attention to themselves on Earth? I mean they clearly look way different compared to actual construction equipment, how did they hide?
As a now 43 years young adult, I can honestly say that these are perfect, but they're definitely NOT as easy to change as they were back in the 80's. These would require some patience and skills, that I'd probably have to take a class just to learn changing these newer versions. Only thing better world be if they were all hands free, self changing at the push of a button. GODDAMN that Devastator is huge. 😱
