This play is on Free Style mode, which enables players to use "the style change" without any mods. It's a shame that this mode is available only in Switch version's dmc3 currently. I hope many people will try and enjoy this mode.
Agreed. 3 is still my favourite of the series in terms of Narrative and weapons (Agni & Rudra as well as Nevan are two of the coolest weapons in the series to me). Tho 5 obviously wins in rhe gameplay department due to being newer, more polished and having more characters of course.
As per usual, impressive fight! A random thought I had that I wanna toss out there: what if someone crafted Joy Cons that resembled Agni & Rudra's hilts? Sounds like an awesome idea! It be nice having your own "Swagni & Gudra".
I'm so torn between wanting a DMC3 remake first (which would make an already amazing experience legendary) or a DMC2 remake first (an opportunity to right the wrong that was that game)
@random user bullshit it is, outdated gameplay, terrible platforming, bad camera, bad acting, very little depth in it's gameplay, extremely slow weapon swapping, lack of weapon variety, and the worst offender, the taunt sucks. I don't think it needs style switching tho, it would be nice but that one isn't necessary.
Imo it’s worth buying DMC3 on the Switch for that mode alone. It makes DMC3 feel like a different game since we’re use to of one style/two weapons at a time.
I love how weapon switching works 3, 4 and 5 has you cycling through weapon but in 3 you can use right stick to choose while holding down the weapon button
@@Cross8ow I agree that the DMC 3 collection needs to have Style Switching, but if Capcom ever decides to lock it behind a paid DLC, you bet the community will be angry about it.
That is why DMC3 Dante Gameplay with Styleswitching is much superior than DMCV. DMC3 Dante has 5 Guns and 5 Melee Weapons with 6 Styles on his arsenal.
I'm still left wondering why Dante doesn't retain all of his styles especially when there's a slow done and doppleganger belonging to two other characters in 5. Although I can definitely see why the guns were cut down because shit like the devil gun (can't remember the name) was useless
I have to disagree.. Dmc5 is much smoother and alive, Dante has summoned swords, Air taunt, canceling Sin Devil Trigger, using Dr. Faust and so many moves for each weapon and guns which it is absolutely insane, sorry buddy I guess it's only matter of an opinion
@@kizutogames7421 even with ng+ you were forced to equip 2 weapon at once and only 1 style switch version let you do all that with new mode called freestyle mode which switch version only have
@@Jacob-er1tt That's too bad. Sure, the characters and story were bad, but there was still a lot of cool stuff you could do with the combat system. Plus, I think people have cooled off on the hate since we got 5 instead of DmC 2.
@@HanMasho oh yeah he said he personally didn't hate it but i guess he didn't want to post it because of the community's thoughts of it at the time, i think it was close to the release of the game that he said it.
