You should get gauge .011 or .012 Elixir strings if you want to get to these heavy low drop tunings! I recommend .010s or .009s if you plan on playing from standard down to drop C/C# and have good lead bending.

Be aware, that it is in drop tuning, otherwise it wouldn’t sound right

@@Rmamba24 Yeah some guitarists are soloists and some are riffers. I am personally a riffer since I am just not a big fan of solos. And some also for some reason like to stay at the cowboy chords stage, so I guess I could call them... chordists? chordspeople? chords. accord? acorn! What am I doing?

i think its actually drop Ab cause in the full version of the song, theres a breakdown at one point which is basically the main riff but played lower but good cover anyway !

If I tune my guitar that has 009 strings in drop Bb, when I go back to the standard tuning will it get worse? Like with a very soft string or with an unregulated tensioner? Hahahaha. By the way this cover was very good 👌🏻
