Here's the story of this game: "Mr. Karate, the undefeated martial artist, was revealed as Ryo's missing father, Takuma Sakazaki. 10 years ago, he knew that Ronnet's death was intentionally planned by someone. Fearing that the rest of his family would be targeted if he stayed, he disappeared. However, 10 years after Ronnet's accident, he learned that an organization had targeted his daughter Yuri. Learning that Mr. Big was behind this, Takuma was forced to work with him. However, Mr. Big's ambitions were foiled by Ryo, Robert, and King's revolution, the latter being one of his former subordinates. Yuri and Takuma safely returned home. A year after Yuri's kidnapping, while Ryo was training in the mountains, he received a letter. The letter was an invitation for a new tournament in Southtown. Fighters from every corner of the town were gathering there. It was a test to decide who was the "strongest"... a tournament for the chosen and for the real fighters. The strongest of the strong, each aspect applies to the dragon and the tiger. Southtown would be split in twain by their instincts. ...But, this event was only the beginning for a certain man filled with ambition. "King of Fighters"... the birth of a man's legend and the prologue for an even greater story." In other words, Takuma's wife was murdered by someone and that someone was Geese Howard and in order the safety of his kids ((Ryo and Yuri)) he was forced to join Geese Howard and became his hitman and Mr. Big under orders from Geese to keep an eye on Takuma

ART Of fightng 2, uma verdadeira obra prima da SNK ,gráficos e trilha sonora impecáveis,porém um defeito meio grave, tem uma inteligência artificial absurdamente difícil, jogador casual ( meu caso por exemplo) pasta nesse jogo,isso quando não passa raiva, tem que ser profissional pra se dar bem nele.
@@VandersonClisman eu sei,mas esse jogo é muito desbalanceado,veja por exemplo o Samurai Shodow é um jogo difícil pra kct mas não é injusto com o tempo vc pega o jeito esse ART Of fightng não ele é muito desbalanceado.

Para mim, um dos jogos de lutas mais bonitos que tem nos arcades até mais bonito que Street Fighter e o seu sucessor o Art of Fighting 3. Pena que seu port para SNES ficou muito abaixo da sua versão original.

Eu acho a dificuldade dos art of fighting 1 e 2 mal feita e desproporcional. Mesmo assim o jogo é legal, porém quase desonesto. Só o chefe General do Kaiser Knuckles que é pior e desonesto mesmo.
Takuma is one of my favorite fighting game characters of all time. I usually play The Art of Fighting team when I play KOF. He is allot like Sagat in the way that some people forget he was a final boss character. I loved that Serious Mr. Karate made an appearance in Capcom vs SNK Chaos They need to make a new AOF Sequel though and include Jeff Bogard. Has he ever been a playable character anywhere?
Se não fosse a dificuldade muito alta este jogo talvez tivesse mais sucesso. AoF 3 é mais fácil e por isto gosto mais dele (além de ter gráficos bacanas)
