O Kusanagi é um dos meus personagens favoritos, ele chega à ser um pouco melhor que o próprio Kyo. A voz dele é legal, ele tem uma fala alternativa contra personagens que lutam com armas e contra seus rivais (Kyo, Iori, K' e K9999) no KoF 2002. Um bom personagem.
There are good ways and bad ways to handle them. But to me Snk should only keep Kusanagi for the future games as a real character, and bring back the "Ex version" concept to use Kyo's actual old forms in place of the two clones. For one, it's important to bring back Ex versions to promote variety. And two: more char slot economy that way.
@@SenatorArmstrong2018 The “NESTS”saga was over complicated with the whole “genetic experimentation” and “cloning” gimmicks, none of which really felt like something that fit well in the KOF aesthetic.

Pra mim e o oposto eu não gosto do kyo-1 eu só gosto do kusanagi e do kyo-2 sei lá eu acho ele mas dificil de jogar e também tem a questão de qual é mas forte mas pra mim e kusanagi é kyo2
0:15 A c h, every time I see the Jhun team, I'm just reminded of all the gripes I have with this game, specifically it's team making decisions in this case. Like, Jhun, Lin, and Shingo. All of them could've been on different teams that'd make a whole lot more sense, like have Jhun, Kim, and May Lee form a Korea team, Shingo, Saisyu, and Some of the walls stuff, like Syo Kishimura to make a Kusanagi team, and Lyn on...I dunno, maybe a stealth or assassin team with Eiji and hecc, maybe Freeman from Mark of the Wolves. This game is ment to be a d r e a m match, so it feels weird to make such odd team making desicions, when they could make even more teams that would make sense at the expense of the KOF canon, since this game isn't.
kusanagi moveset from 95 but with 98's grab move called kotoushi you voiced by mitsuo iwata which was supposed to be the VA of syo krishima basicly just kyo-1
@@ryunekoyashiki K9999 was in all versions of KOF 2002 I think. He just got replaced by Nameless for this game because SNK hated K9999. Other than that though, they both played the same, with a few cosmetic differences.
@@SenatorArmstrong2018 the reason why k9999 got replaced by nameless is that snk got copyright by akira creator because k9999 look exactly the same like akira's character tetsuo....
You know what has always confused me about Kusanagi? He first appeared in the games in KOF 2002, but his canon appearance was in 2003. So he time traveled to the past, and then went back to the future for KOF 2002 UM. I know both 2002 and it’s UM counter part are non-canon, but I felt like pointing it out.
Officially, he is a shadow created by Chizuru. Yeah, 2002 + UM is just SNK wanting to do something by bringing back Kyo, but with a special twist, hence Kusanagi was made. Would have been a cool story had he been a NESTS clone. Boy, a perfect machine that just looks like Kyo.
Imagine...... KUSANAGI was created by Chizaru, and he's blood thirsty evil. WHHHHYYYYYYY????? All of the humaniods of KYO , even Iori Yagami are my ultimate egos and favorites. You can't help wishing to be like them.
I dislike Kyo 1 and 2 as real characters (or attempts) but Kusanagi is a different case to me. Still, my opinion and "solution" for the problem of clones (and in general the problem of chars that change often and sometimes their current form is not well received) is that Snk should throw away the old "Ex char" concept and invent something like "Mode" or "Form". So like Hyper SF2, or USF4, you could have a long list of versions of that same character. That way you can fit in the same game: classic Kyo, 97 Kyo, Nests Kyo, Xiii Kyo, etc. Suppose somebody grew attached to 97 Ryo, where he has that dizzy punch and short range fireball; or 02 Yuri that has that unique charged fireball; or 98 Benimaru because of the anti air kick. So the game can 100% fulfill those players. I think this is the best idea for the future.
