The roster of KOF XI is better than the roster of KOF XIII Too bad we never got a proper Dream Match game with all the characters from the Ash saga (KOF XII doesn't count. That was just a demo) and keeping the tag system gameplay. I miss Malin, Momoko, B. Jenet, Hotaru, Silber, Tizoc, Duck King, ADELHEID 😭 Characters that probably we will never see again :(

Yeah i think Kof Xiii put the company in a situation that made a dreammatch not viable. They tend to follow the last story game of every arc (97->98, 01->02). And it's a shame because, like you said, the game would gather a lot of chars that current have little chances of coming back. Not only to a future story game but imo even to a future dreammatch... Also to me a huge appeal of the Ash Saga dreammatch that never happened, would be getting all arcs together and probably their bosses. Like, in 98 and 02 there were roster limitations due to the Neogeo capacity, but imagine a modern dreammatch that had a vast roster goal similar to 02um. With all bosses from Omega Rugal to Magaki and Dark Ash, including subs like Saisyu, Adel, Shion, etc... I would easily and gladly accept such game even if still made with the old sprites in the late 00s (ps3 gen).

Esse visual do Robert do KOF XI tá parecendo mais com o Steven Seagal mesmo com esse cabelo solto. Achei estranho Robert ficar de barriga de fora. O cara agora trocou o azul pelo roxo e também trocou de calçado por um marrom. Na pose de luta parece que ele está dançando. A exemplo do KOF 2003,ele manteve o anti-aéreo com chute.

Devia ter sido esse o time do Art of Fighting no KOF XI em versão Arcade. Uma pena que não é... Até porque o Robert saiu do time pra cuidar do Takuma que ficou se sentindo muito mal e acabou no hospital sendo que a King entrou na vaga do Robert. Eu não entendi porque o Robert não usou o visual do KOF 2003 aí?

A roupa mudou por nenhum motivo, mas essa mudança já é um padrão pra ele, então não é de se estranhar. Desde o Kof 94 ele teve mais de 5 mudanças se não me engano. Agora se o Takuma mudasse, isso sim seria estranho...

Technically Kof Xi is very superior to Neogeo games. The only big problem for some people must be the tag system. But suppose the game system was based on Kof 02. Then the game would be easily the best along with 02um.

Eu gosto muito desse KOF; acho ele bastante subestimado. Mas não gostei como o ending de alguns trios ficaram muito ruins, pendendo pra comédia.

Para mim o que acabou com esse Kof, assim como o 03, e de certa forma também todos os jogos de Striker, foi terem forçado a mecânica nova. O que deviam ter feito era oferecer opções de jogo como a Snk até já tinha aprendido a executar antes, com o Advanced-Extra. Se tivesse uma simples opçãozinha de duas escolhas no início dos jogos de Striker e de Tag, como em Kof 97-98, provavelmente a aceitação desses jogos teria sido um pouco diferente. Mas não foi isso que aconteceu, e aí a fase Tag afundou a série tal ponto que precisaram descartar a mecânica (coisa que nunca tinham feito antes, no meio de uma saga) e voltar o sistema tradicional no Kof Xiii. De certa forma uma exibição de fracasso, que podia ter sido evitada apenas não forçando mecânicas. Quer dizer, no meu raciocínio, Xiii podia também ter tido Tag mas com a opção de escolher o sistema tradicional. E quem sabe o jogo até tivesse ficado mais divertido assim, só por ter uma opção de jogo a mais... fora que com certeza o sistema seria refinado bem mais, como foi o do Xi comparado com o do 03.

@@DavidAtenas Sim. Outro fator que eu acho também foi insistirem no Neogeo... Podiam ter ido logo de Atomiswave no 03. Daí imagina o 03 com a jogabilidade do Xi e todas as vantagens do hardware novo como o tamanho maior do elenco, conteúdo de história mais trabalhado e com gráficos superiores, e audio de alta qualidade. Então se o 03 fosse um jogo de Atomiswave e ainda por cima tivesse como escolher ou não o Tag (como na minha ideia) eu creio que dificilmente a série teria afundado nessa época. Porque não ia alienar totalmente quem prefere o sistema antigo. E vou mais longe e digo que teria grandes chances de um 03 assim entrar no top 5 de melhores jogos. Tendo todas essas vantagens técnicas, um elenco maior (que o 03 real), uma história que tem o time dos "três tesouros", chars de Garou, o sistema clássico e mais o novo (que não deixa de ser um adicional legal). Um jogo assim dependendo do balanceamento podia até chegar a bater de frente com o 98 e 02.

O mais estranho desse time no KOF XI é que o Robert solta projéteis no chão com chute,usa projéteis em forma de estrelas,usa Haohshokouken roxo e usa Illusion Kick diferente com chute único no começo sendo que os chutes seguidos só aparece se acertar o oponente;o Ryo faz Ko-oh Ken laranja sendo que geralmente é azul e eu acho que ele deve usar Haohshokouken laranja também e a Yuri tem um chutão que manda oponente pra cima no ar.

O Robert desse jogo e o do 03 são bizarros. Isso porque as bizarrices com ele só tavam começando de leve, quando ele virou "Guile" na saga Nests. Não sei por que os devs tiveram essas idéias. Mas enfim, a ideia deu tão "certo" que o Kof Xiii pegou um Robert tão raiz que usa até a sua roupa original e golpes originais... Eu até que não sou contra todas as roupas diferentes, mas não gostei que a pose de luta dele mudou demais no Kof 03 e Xi. Podia ser só como as outras versões, que muda a roupa mas a pose não muda demais.

@@carlosaugusto9821 Queria que no KOF 2003,KOF XI e KOF XIII o Robert usasse camisa azul de mangas longas que nem no KOF 96,KOF 97 e KOF 98. Mas o mais curioso é que Robert nunca usa camisa com o Takuma como parceiro do time como trio assim como também o Robert nunca usa camisa preta com a Yuri como parceiro dela do time como trio.

@@lordethiagomacena2084 É, esse visual dele é muito bom. O ideal mesmo para mim é os produtores cabeça dura da Snk se tocarem logo que Kof precisa ter um sistema de troca de roupas como Sf tem desde Sf4. É a melhor coisa que eles podem fazer, primeiro para mostrar que estão se modernizando como as outras empresas... e além disso por "segurança", porque eu não confio no bom gosto dessa nova geração de designers da Snk. Vide a roupa do Iori no Xiv e a do Shun'ei. Então é melhor oferecer as roupas do passado. A vantagem para os devs da Snk de cara é que já tem muitas roupas disponíveis para fazer, sem precisar pensar em novas ideias. Ao contrário da Capcom, que sempre foi uma empresa acomodada e menos criativa, que não mudam os chars, daí precisam pensar o tempo todo em alguma ideia de roupa. E se for contar ainda referências de séries da Snk (como a Capcom faz com roupas baseadas em Darkstalkers e outras séries) aí aumenta muito mais o material já disponível para fazer roupas. Incrível que os devs não viram potencial nisso, mesmo anos depois de Sf4.
