Pero la pose de victoria alternativa de Janne en WH1 cuando no le queda mucha energía (en la que se para de frente, cierra los ojos y alza la cabeza solemnemente) es la mejor y la que más me gusta. I'm glad there are people who know that World Heroes was actually created by ADK and not by SNK. Thank you for appreciating the work of this company, I will always be grateful to ADK for having created many of the games that marked my life. ♥

@NotSnarl I always knew it was created by Alpha Denshi/ADK, even as a little girl I could notice that there was not any SNK logo in the games, SNK only published ADK's works and bought their properties when ADK went bankrupt, but still most people misinform saying that World Heroes was created by SNK, some because of ignorance and others because of fanaticism, wanting to give SNK more credit than it deserves and belittling ADK's work. This is very unfair, ADK deserves credit and recognition for the games they created.

@NotSnarl Don't worry, I can't help but be happy and comment every time I see that someone recognizes and appreciates ADK's work but some SNK fans tend to take my comments negatively, replying to me as if I was a hater and I was attacking that company when all I want to do is give ADK credit for the games and the good times they gave many of us and keep their work from being forgotten. So a joke wouldn't offend me, I don't have to excuse you. :)

Tem códigos fáceis de se fazer para lutar contra Gokuu. No cenário da Era Glacial é só fazer 3 agarroes; no cenário dos vulcões é só utilizar as 4 provocações; no cenário da revolução industrial (Inglaterra) tem que acertar um especial SDM antes do tempo chegar em 75

I think that's the first example of that type of laugh in fg's, because this series is so old. Jeanne is older than Samsho's Charlotte, who also has that laugh. Of course the most popular example of the laugh, just because it's Street Fighter, turned out to be Karin, created much later.

She didn't have that laugh at first, Janne's laugh was changed from World Heroes 2 and honestly, I preferred her original laugh. But after SNK destroyed ADK's Janne by changing her appearance, personality and even her name, the only change I liked that they made was to give her back a more normal laugh.

There are ways to balance them, but it's hard and tricky. And in the early 90s no company cared about balance and these kinds of game refinements. Those were the years of 70% jump in combos, infinites, loops, etc. It took some time for them to start caring about balance. But WH was already dead by that time. Too late to help it...

On the contrary, her being the character I have loved the most since I was a little girl, I absolutely hated "Jeanne" and SNKH. Her name was JANNE and she's not even a character created by SNK, I don't know what sense it makes to bring back a character with another look, another personality and even another name. I wouldn't be affected by this kind of change in a character I didn't like too much but it breaks my heart to see everyone acting like her name was never "Janne" and hardly anyone noticing how different "Jeanne" is now. 💔

It's very unlikely sadly. The only chance for these characters from Adk, Data East, Technos, etc is reviving NGBC to become a regular series. So KOF would be meant for it's own business (KOF abandoned long ago the purpose of being a crossover series), and then NGBC on the side would serve that crossover purpose.

KOF imo should try to reapproach at least a little bit the original theme of Snk crossover, and offer in every new game at least 1 team of "misc. Snk/Neogeo history" chars (2 team would be great). In Xiv it was Muimui, LH and Nakoruru. In Xv they could bring a WH char, a Savage/Kizuna char, and Samsho again (a short reach char for balance like Hanzo, Kuroko, etc)

Does anyone know *if* Janne here was the first user of a whip sword, or Ivy from Soul Calibur was. It seems Ivy is the most well known and popular one.
