Probably the only case where the comical swimsuit actually isn't totally comical and might serve somewhat of a practical purpose. Junko probably wouldn't want to get that huge dress soggy on accident.
Dat Junko's past. Dat feels. :( If you know Chinese mythology, *spoilers*: As you may know, Junko's son was murdered by Chang'e's husband, Houyi (the archer) and she held the grudge against her and her husband. Even Hecatia hates Houyi as well as he shot the suns, causing the Hell to be weakened.
Neverthless, Houyi's action at that time was to save the Earth. Junko's son was among the other Heaven King's 9 children who turned into the 10 suns, drying the land and burning the Earth. Houyi was asked by him to stop them, but accidentally killed 9 of his sons, leaving 1 for the Earth as Chang'e begging. And unfortunately, Junko's son was killed. And maybe one of them was also Hecatia's child. In the end, though I feel really for Junko, without Chang'e and Houyi, the Earth may have been fried.
That's true! Though i remember in the conversation with Reimu, she said: " He killed one of my stars ". Maybe i accidentally thought that star to be Hecatia's child.
Given that Junko has a harsh rivalry with a certain immortal and that she is a vengeful spirit targeting a specific group of people I tend to compare her to Mokou and Mima.
For one of the characters that I haven't seen much of since I got into TouHou this past summer, Junko is easily one of the most memorable in terms of her story. Loss of a loved one is something that most people can relate to, but having that life taken from you by another loved one? I can understand why she would feel the need to do all of that.
i like how Reisen is visibly confused by Junko's expression. Reisen see Junko's putting on a smile, not in a creepy or yandere smile, just a genuine smile, like someone you had just had a good fight with and is about to make amend, only for Junko to immediately fire at Reisen. Junko have purified herself to the point she's beyond needing to express her anger, we all know her pain and fury against lunarians, yet she's not expressing even the slightest bit, all the confusing to Reisen.
I already liked the music enough, but then that animation... You just got a new sub. Well deserved. 3:18 Yeah deal with it Junko, anyone who has reached that far into the game probably has tons of lives in reserve for your fight! 4:30 Very accurate representation of what the average player reaction when facing that final attack... 5:00 LMAO this is too much xDD
junko looks extra beautiful in that artstyle ^^ also, this artists is really good at storytelling. this doent really look like an actual fight, but rather just junko trying to teach reisen how to dodge better, kinda like a mom and at the end she thinks about her because she likes and cares about her and i think thats really wholesome :3
I was really wondering why the fairies were SO overpowered against the Lunarians in LoLK. Turns out that Junko purified them into pure Life Energy. I didn't know Junko had that ability, to be fair... but it makes sense with her very precise yet simple danmaku.
Remember the time Kogasa was kind enough to babysit for Junko? Problem is, Junko is _still_ suffering from denial thus invisible baby hijinks! Funny yet sad...
So that's what the final boss is doing while waiting for the main character to show up... Also what is that instrument they're playing... I thought it was a recorder but seeing as I have one and it doesn't sound like that my next guess would be oboe, flute or piccolo...
Its a setting on a electronic keyboard not a actual instrument, the setting is called electric wind instrument. The image used is what it was imagined it would look like if a real instrument.
