I'm so sad that these two never kissed tbh. With the amount of skinship they had and they were so comfortable with each other, and especially after their vacation in china where she fell asleep in his arms, I felt like I was just waiting for them to inevitably kiss, something like how Yewon and Henry kissed. arg but unfortunately I guess they didn't feel that way about each other. Milie they're supposed to be the fresh young couple. If you noticed..they're both shy when it comes to kissing even though they teased about it. If one is too bold the other one gets shy especially towards the end when Sungjae started becoming more affectionate..well in his own way. I think people forget that these two are still young and both have never really seriously dated because they trained and practiced during those times. Idol life really doesn't let allow dating usually especially the girl idols. Plus, the fact that Sungjae just started getting popular around this time and he said multiple times on interviews that he's being careful because "worried fans" might misunderstand him and joy. But he never fails to say that they are close and really comfortable with each other. You can tell on how they talk to each other and their natural skin ship that they have a good bond whether just as close friends or more than friends. 👍
SaGeForReal I get that they're young but I doubt that they're completely inexperienced. I don't blame them or anything, they're real people not actors so they shouldn't be forced? I just really wanted them to kiss for my own selfish shipper reasons 😂

But considering their image and companies...especially for Red Velvet and the antis who were so against sungjoy. I'm pretty sure that kind of made Sungjae want to protect joy and be well mannered around her. A cheek kiss would of be fine too especially at the amusement park even a final episode a cheek kiss would of been satisfying.
