Marie: Umm... Callie, where did you find this? Callie: I found it at the base of a mountain, outside of a cave. When I looked into the cave, I saw this glowy white wall thing. I decided to ignore the wall thing, and grabbed the CD. Oh! It also came with a note! Marie: What did it say? Callie: I couldn't understand it, because it was written in what I think are human words. Marie: Callie. Callie: Yeah, Marie? Marie: I see a translation on the back. Callie: Oh! Never noticed it. OK, here's what it says: "To whoever reads this, please acknowledge that I ONLY did this because my brother, Papyrus (the tall Skeleton in the video) begged me to do it. And because he's the coolest brother a guy could ask for. -Sans (the short skeleton in the video)" Marie: Question - How is this possible? I mean, how can two human skeletons just reanimate and film this video? And why is there a humanoid goat thing on the DJ booth? Mammals are extinct, and skeletons are already dead! Callie: I have no clue, but it's kinda cute how a couple of skeletons did a cover of our song. Marie: Okay, now that I can agree on. Callie: Oh! I just got a new friend request from someone named "COOLSKELETON95" with no spaces, all caps, and I mean all letters are capital letters. Marie: Maybe just check his profile real quick. Callie: OK. WAIT, WHAT?!?!?!?!? Marie: Callie, what is it? Callie: You know the tall skeleton from the cover video I showed you? Marie: Yeah? Callie: Well check it out! This is the same guy! Marie: Okay, I can understand how it would be possible for a skeleton to do the video, but the social media account? Now my mind is officially blown, and that's hard to do. Callie: OK, I've accepted the friend request. And he just sent me a text, it says... Oh, I can't read it, it's written in human. Oh wait, he's typing. He just sent another, in our language. It says: "Please excuse my brother, he does not know how to write in your language. I even had to teach him how to speak inkling for the video. And even then we had to take multiple cuts because I realized he was butchering the words. Anyways, he said 'So, did you like the video?'" Marie: Well, that was a bit. Tell them that we liked the video, and that we understand the confusion. I see now why there were a few sloppy cuts in the video. Callie: OK, done! Marie: Well, that was something, I'm gonna go get lunch. Callie: OK. COOLSKELETON95 just sent something that says that he'd like to offer some "pasta" back where I found the CD, and by that I assume that he's offering lunch. I'm gonna take that offer. Marie: Oh, cool. In that case, have a good time there! Callie: And you have a good lunch! * after Marie got home * Marie: ...Wait, why was there a robot in the background?
Meanwhile, in the underground... Papyrus: SANS! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS! Sans: what is it, pap? Papyrus: YOU KNOW THE "SQUID SISTERS" THAT WE BASED OUR VIDEO ON, RIGHT?! Sans: yeah, so? Papyrus: ONE OF THEM TOOK UP MY OFFER OF HAVING SOME SPAGHETTI WITH ME! ISN'T THAT NEAT?! Sans: yeah, sounds pretty cool. you go do that, i'm gonna go do my job. Papyrus: HOPEFULLY THIS TIME, YOU DON'T SLACK OFF. Sans: okay, okay, i'll make sure i don't get distracted. Papyrus: OR DOZE OFF? Sans: or doze off. see ya, pap! Frisk: *Well, what did she say? Papyrus: SHE SAID YES!!! Frisk: *Oh! That's nice! Tell her that I will be coming since you can't cross the barrier without the help of my SOUL. And that we will explain when we meet at the cave entrance. Papyrus: OK! ...AAAAND SENT! Frisk: *Now that that is taken care of, wanna go make that Spaghetti? Papyrus: YES! LET'S DO THAT!

_A few notes for some fellow lore freaks who need context for how Asriel is still alive in the video: in this timeline, Chara never fell down into the Underground, neither did the other six humans. Frisk is the only fallen human and, since the whole human extinction event, will be the only Fallen Child and is now the last existing human. So, as you could probably tell, the whole "breaking the barrier" plan isn't happening anytime soon. Unless the new dominant life forms, the Inklings, Octolings, Jellyfish, and others have SOULs with equal or half power of Human SOULs. Unless the last bit is true, the monsters are trapped in the Underground forever. Well anyways, I hope this bit of info helps, and that you can understand how Asriel is still alive._
_And some notes for the Splatoon lore freaks, Callie is just pronouncing the letters of Papyrus's username, COOLSKELETON95, because she didn't bother to study human language, which was likely too boring of a subject to study to her. And Marie was likely intrigued by human history that she wanted to learn more about them, hence why she knows the term 'humanoid'. I hope this clarified a bit for you._
