Unfortunately, I couldn't get Miku to sound the way I wanted if I had brought her an octave lower Trust me when I say that next time I WILL FIND A WAY AND NOT LET MIKU STAY SO HIGH UP o___e I don't like that much either lol

I often listen to this one and Goodbye when I'm at my lowest points and sing along (even though I often can't hit the highest notes unless I'm warmed up, so I sing it in lower octaves). Sometimes I cry, let loose all the pent up frustration and pain that I do my best to hide. People always tell me, 'it gets better.' I like to believe that, but some of us have tried too damn long to be strong and keep trucking on. The lows get lower, the highs are more like what your lows used to be and you just start simply existing. These songs remind me that I'm not the only one suffering, even though it can often feel like we are the only ones feeling this way. Suicide is not the answer, and I agree. But I also don't blame those that go that route. Things are overwhelming, nothing you used to love gives you any joy anymore, your friends don't get it/are insensitive to your suffering and tell you to 'get over it' (if it was truly that easy, none of us would ever feel that way. POOF! A happy thought and it's all gone! We fucking wish)/or simply stop talking to you because they're 'tired of it.' Well, we're tired of it too. We just want the demons to shut up and leave us alone. Some of us bury it inside ourselves because no one wants to listen to us vent, or offer any support. We don't want to burden you, but we also can't handle it all on our own. It's why we turn to others for help, and when turned away, that's when things like suicide can happen. Even with great support nets, it can still happen in a particularly bad low day. If you can, seek help. It can feel like the heaviest burden, but if you can seek help, do it as soon as you possibly can. The earlier, the better. It does not make you weak, it makes you human. Don't let the demons win. I suffer from clinical depression and anxiety I'm afraid to tell anyone. I don't want to burden them so I suffer in silence. This has been a miserable year for me. It gets worse by the day. The only thing that helps is drawing. When I can muster up the motivation. We had a group of people come into school. They talked about depression and anxiety. I sat there in silence. I didn't want to hear about stuff I was WAY to familiar with.

God, this song is so beautiful I've had it in my library ever since I found it here. It's super powerful, I can tell you put all your might into this one. My struggle with clinical depression and anxiety was always such an uphill battle, especially when I was younger.

So, I found this song some time ago, but now that I've listened to it several times, I feel the need to comment. It's absolutely chilling. I can't really describe what the tune does to me. The intro especially, it's just... beautiful and shaking. And it's a topic that hits close to home. While I've never had suicidal thoughts myself, my best friend has tried to kill herself more than once. If it hasn't already, I hope this struggle eases for you. But anyway, you've created a masterpiece.

I startred crying as soon as I heard this song, listened to the words. I have known about Aokigahara in Japan and have always felt the want to go there and die. Thoe woods are the best place to die.. Because at least there, you are accepted. The verse where it says "Do you not value your life. Not as much I do this knife" struck deep agony with all the knife marks on my body.

I feel ya. I've been wanting my life to end since I was 8 and still do as a young teen. I don't have much advice, since one day I'm the happiest person alive end the next all I wish for is my life to end right there and right now. The advice I DO have is to stay by the people who make you laugh and glad to be alive. That's how I've made it to where I am.

Seconding everything said here...! Except I mostly relate from my own two rounds of depression. I have recovered both times thanks to the right mix of therapy, meds, and supportive friends + family. May everyone find their way back out of the horrible woods and back to happness again!

I can sympathize with the pain you are feeling. I went through some tough shit growing up and a couple years it all started to make sense that what happened to me wasn't ok yet I knew it was to far in the future for any justice to be served. It made me depressed and suicidal. My parents sent me away for a while because they had no idea how to deal with me. That f'ed up my life more but when I got back I focused all my energy on art and have been working out my issues with art and a therapist.
