Thank you for uploading this video. We will never be able to enjoy volleyball of this standard these days. Cuba, china, Brazil and to a certain extent Japan's volleyball set the standard during the golden era of this fabulous sport in the 70, 80' 90's. after the Sydney olympics, mist of these female wonderful players went out the radar. I do miss them all
Thru the 70s, Japan and URSS were the dominant forces in those days...in the 80s, China, the USA, Cuba, and Peru were the ones to beat, and thru the 90s, there were two Super Powers that rule that decade, CUBA and Brazil...after that, in the new century Brazil once again continued to keep a fierce presence and Russia ( the unequivocal heir to the mighty URSS ) and to a certain extent The USA team along with CHINA have dominated the volleyball scene..Today, as we speak, ITALY, SERBIA, Turkey Russia, and the USA seems to have the momentum.
She hit better when the ball was high and off the net. Idk why the coaches didn't tell the setters to set her a little bit farther from the net than for Mireya and Regla Bell. Btw, I know what I am saying. I grew up watching all these ladies play when I was back in Cuba. I have a couple of childhood female friends that played against some of these women in national championships. ;)
Volleyball Museum 排球博物館 Yeah, the final. Don't worry for EVERY single point. Anyway, the quality of your videos is sooo good. P. S. sorry for my bad English and thanks for your work
OK. I will post them when it is ready. It takes quite some time to convert the tapes to digital formats. And my VCR is not working again. You are from Italy?
@@jesslosaria9322 Add Tai Agüero, Yumilka Ruiz, and Ana Ivis fernández to the list, and from the younger generation, Rosir Calderón and Nancy Carrillo. They were very good, too.
