HUH? NOT MUGEN? DISLIKE AND UNSUBSCRIBED-
JKJK, I know I didn't really make much MUGEN content (other than THAT video), but I'm busy with work and just really haven't found motivation for MUGEN coding.
But, I did play some other games, and one that particularly caught my interest was "Your Only Move Is Hustle", or YOMI Hustle for short.
Honestly I had no idea what I was getting myself into but OH MAN THIS GAME IS FUN.
It's not a traditional fighting game, it's a turn-based, build-each-turn game. It sounds weird, but it lets you do some really cool stuff that's basically TAS.
For this, I tried what the community calls "Scripted" fights: A fight you basically make yourself in the single player mode, which is basically a sandbox for making stuff like this (effectively making the game an animation maker).
The base roster was unimpressive, but luckily, there were a SHIT TON OF MODS. So it wasn't that big of a deal.
My first scripted fight in YOMI Hustle is this one, and it took about 4 hours. It was pretty hard trying to mess around with the right settings and attacks to create a satisfying result.
The rhythm is kind of all over the place, but I really like it. It's chaotic, exactly like how I thought the game would be.
I think you guys should try the game for yourself. It's a lot of fun.
